At this stage, the best photos happen when they are playing peek-a-boo, interacting with you, or discovering something new.

Older babies have so much personality to share, and capturing these beautiful milestones is my absolute favorite part of being a photographer.

My newborn sessions are 100% focused on connection, comfort, and real life. You look at your beautiful baby, and I will handle the rest. 🙌

I absolutely love Delamere Forest. 🌲✨ It never disappoints, especially in the summer. There’s just something so magical about the whole place. 😍

I often get asked by parents when the best time is to have their baby photographed. Whilst there’s no wrong or right time, I usually recommend within the first six weeks (for a home photoshoot).

Your baby changes so much during those early weeks. Those tiny features, sleepy cuddles and natural newborn curls soon begin to change as they grow and become more aware of the world around them.

Of course, some parents prefer to wait a little longer, when their baby is more awake, making eye contact and starting to show a little more of their personality.

Many babies also start adjusting to their developing digestive system at around six weeks, which can sometimes make them a little more unsettled.

Although that doesn’t stop us from creating beautiful photographs, we simply follow your baby’s lead and focus on moments that matter the most, the cuddles, connection and love you share as a family. ❤️
