Total Solar Eclipse 2026 🌑☀️📸

I have just arrived in Spain to photograph the unique events with Total Solar Eclipse and the Perseids Meteor shower. ☀️🌌☄️
I have been looking forward to this trip for over a year and I am super excited to do this project together with Fernando Marmolejo David Cachon MTB and Marianne villadsen | Inspiration til naturoplevelser. 📸

I am looking so much forward to capture some unique photos and to enjoy this memorable experience! ✨

Last time I saw a partial solar eclipse was in 2022 in Denmark together with my fellow OM System Ambassadors Julia // All things outdoors🇨🇭 Fotograf Rania Rönntoft and Louise Åvall.😊

🌑 Photographing a solar eclipse? Here are 6 quick tips 📸

1. Use a solar filter ☀️
Always use a certified solar filter during the partial phases. Remove it only during totality – and put it back immediately afterwards.

2. Think about focal length 🔭
400mm+ is great for capturing the corona and prominences. Wider lenses can create amazing landscape shots with the eclipse in the scene.

3. Use manual focus 🎯
Focus on the sun beforehand and switch to manual focus. Autofocus can struggle when the light changes.

4. Bracket your exposures 📸
During totality, things happen fast. Shoot a range of exposures so you can capture everything from the bright corona to the darker details.

5. Look beyond the sun 🌄
Add a person, landscape, mountain or building to create a stronger image and tell a story.

6. Don’t forget to experience it ❤️
The camera can wait. Look up, take it all in and enjoy the moment. Totality is incredibly short – and truly magical.

Snorkling with humpback whales in French Polynesia has been one of my big dreams since childhood. To experience these gentle giants with my own eyes and to observe the intimate bond between mother and calf was such a unique experience!
I captured a lot of photos, but this image remains one of my favorites. To me, it captures the tenderness, trust, and extraordinary connection between mother and calf. Every time I look at it, I am reminded not only of this unforgettable encounter, but also of how important it is to protect the oceans and the safe havens these magnificent animals depend on.🐋📸🌊

Inspiration til din næste getaway ved Mariager Fjord 🌿✨

Hvis du trænger til et par dage, hvor tempoet sænkes, så gem det her tip.

Vi overnattede i en af de hyggelige fjordbobler hos Mariager Camping – med udsigt over Mariager Fjord og naturen lige uden for døren.
Aftenen bød på sauna, en forfriskende dukkert fra badebroen, tapas fra Café Salt, et glas vin i solnedgangen og afslapning i hængekøjen. Den slags øjeblikke, hvor man helt glemmer tiden.
Næste morgen hoppede vi på cyklen, som hører med til opholdet, hentede den inkluderede morgenmad og nød den i solen med udsigt over fjorden, inden vi fortsatte ud for at udforske området.
Mariager Camping er en skøn base, hvis du vil opleve Mariager Fjord – uanset om du er til vandreture, kajak, hyggelige caféer eller bare ønsker et par dage med ro, natur og nærvær.

Inspiration for your next getaway by Mariager Fjord 🌿✨
If you’re looking for a place to slow down and recharge, save this one for later.
We spent the night in one of the cozy Fjord Bubbles at Mariager Camping, overlooking the beautiful Mariager Fjord.
The evening was filled with a relaxing sauna session, a refreshing swim from the nearby pier, delicious tapas from Café Salt, a glass of wine at sunset and quiet moments in the hammock. The kind of evening where you completely lose track of time.
The next morning, we used the bicycle included with our stay to pick up the breakfast basket before enjoying it in the sunshine overlooking the fjord, ready for another day of exploring the area.
Mariager Camping is the perfect base for discovering Mariager Fjord, whether you’re into hiking, kayaking, charming cafés or simply looking for a peaceful nature escape.

Bornholm is one of those places I keep coming back to. I have visited the island in every season – and most recently this summer – and every time I discover new trails, breathtaking viewpoints, and unforgettable experiences. ☀️

In this guide, I’ve gathered some of my favorite tips for an active getaway on Bornholm:
🚴‍♀️ How to easily bring your gravel bike to the island.
🚴‍♂️ Tips for cycling the entire coastline on Route 10.
🏃‍♀️ Etape Bornholm, if you love running (just remember to sign up early – spots sell out fast).
🥾 A selection of my favorite hiking trails. Choosing was almost impossible because Bornholm is packed with incredible routes.

Taking part in Etape Bornholm was such a great experience and a fun way to explore some of the island’s most iconic spots.🏃🏼🌿☀️

Sommerstemning i Løgstør ☀️🌊

Ad | Nogle sommerdage behøver ikke den store plan.
En gåtur langs havnen. En is i solen. En forfriskende dukkert i Limfjorden. Små hyggelige gader, god mad og en solnedgang, der sætter prikken over i’et.
Vi brugte et døgn i Løgstør, og byen viste sig fra sin allerbedste side. Med sin rolige stemning og beliggenhed lige ud til Limfjorden er byen den perfekte base, hvis du vil koble af og samtidig have masser af oplevelser lige i nærheden.
Vi boede i en hyggelig ferielejlighed på Christiansminde, hvor dagen sluttede med udsigt over vandet og en af de smukke sommeraftener, man sent glemmer.
Hvis du leder efter inspiration til en hyggelig weekendtur eller sommerferie i Danmark, så er Løgstør bestemt et besøg værd.

Ad | Some summer days don’t need much planning.
A stroll along the harbour. An ice cream in the sunshine. A refreshing swim in the Limfjord. Charming streets, great food and a sunset that perfectly ends the day.
We recently spent a summer day in Løgstør, and the town truly showed its best side. With its relaxed atmosphere and beautiful waterfront location, it’s the perfect base for slowing down while still having plenty of local experiences nearby.
We stayed in a cozy apartment at Christiansminde, where we ended the day overlooking the fjord and enjoying one of those unforgettable Danish summer evenings.
If you’re looking for inspiration for a weekend escape or summer holiday in Denmark, Løgstør is definitely worth adding to your list.

Vi har netop været på sommertur i Himmerland, og området overraskede os virkelig med sin hyggelige stemning, smukke natur og rolige tempo.

📍Løgstør bød på hyggelige havnevibes, en dukkert i Limfjorden, is på havnen og en smuk solnedgang.

📍Mariager bød på en afslappende overnatning i en fjordbobbel ved med sauna, tapas, vin og morgenmad med udsigt over fjorden.

Ad | As an outdoor photographer, I spend a lot of time on the move. Whether I am heading out for a short evening shoot, a full day in nature or a multi-day photo job, I need a backpack that keeps my equipment organized and easy to access.
Over the past few weeks, I have been testing the new Peak Design Travel Backpack 20L and Travel Backpack 2-in-1, and both have quickly become part of my everyday workflow.🎒📸

The Travel Backpack 20L has been perfect for day trips and everyday photography, while the Travel Backpack 2-in-1 gives me the extra space I need for longer assignments where I bring more camera equipment, clothing and my laptop.
One of the things I appreciate the most is how easy it is to stay organized. With a camera cube I have a dedicated place for my camera gear, packing cubes for clothing, sleeve for computer, and pockets for all the small essentials that usually end up at the bottom of a backpack. The wide-opening design makes it quick to access my equipment, and the flexible layout means I can adapt the backpack depending on whether I am carrying camera gear, travel essentials or a combination of both.🌿📸🎒

Small details make a big difference when you spend a lot of time outdoors, and having everything well organized means I can spend less time looking for gear and more time focusing on the light, the landscape and the next photograph.

I am looking forward to bringing both backpacks on many more adventures throughout the year. 🌿📷

Nogle gange behøver en getaway ikke være længere væk end den danske natur. 🌿☀️

Vi har nydt et skønt sommerophold på Hotel Bramslevgaard. Vi boede i Skovhuset med moderne værelser og en ny stor hyggelig terrasse - den perfekte base til at opleve Bramslev Bakkers smukke vandrestier og den rolige stemning ved Mariager Fjord. Tip: Tag en vandretur på Panoramaruten. 🌿🥾🏞️

Et ophold med tid til at sænke tempoet, nyde naturen og slutte dagen af med en smuk solnedgang. 🌅

Sometimes the best getaway is closer than you think. 🌿☀️
We have recently enjoyed a wonderful summer stay at Hotel Bramslevgaard. We stayed in the new Skovhuset with its modern rooms and new big cozy terrace - the perfect base for exploring the beautiful hiking trails of Bramslev Bakker and the peaceful surroundings of Mariager Fjord. Tip: Go hike the Panorama route. 🌿🥾🏞️

A place to slow down, enjoy nature, and end the day with a beautiful sunset. 🌅
