On my most recent photo workshop on Lofoten in late February we were as usual shooting on the wonderful beaches and usually there is seaweed and rock that lends itself to abstracts so here is a selection from this year.

My next workshop with space available is in the Dolomites October 16-23.

During this workshop we will visit places among the following: Area near the hotel including Lago di Carezza, Alpe di Siusi, Val di Funes with the churches Santa Maddalena and Sct. Johan, Passo Sella, Passo Pordoi, Baita Segantini at Passo Rolle, Seceda, and a location with earth pyramids. There will also be some some other locations to visit.

Following up on yesterdays photo from the Northern coast of Spain, this photo was shot in early morning at sunrise when there was low tide that reveals the rock.

The low tide and sunrise only happens at the same time for a day or so ☺️ But wonderful to experience.

Some years ago I went on a trip to photograph the Northern Coast of Spain. This coast is special because of the beauty of it, the diversity and also the tidal differences of up to 5 meters.

I managed to plan the trip so that the low tide that exposes the rock at the coast happened just before sunrise. Not in this picture as this was shot at higher tide and where the rock will never be exposed.

Sunset at Seceda in the Dolomites, Italy. A wonderful late afternoon experienced after hiking up 400 altitude meters to this viewpoint. This was shot about one hour after the last cable car went down to the valley. I stayed in the wonderful refugio Fermeda and you can find it here https://www.fermeda.com/en/

It is the highest level refugio with access to Seceda.

Before I even started doing workshops myself I joined a couple of workshops. This one was in Utah with Andy Biggs in December 2007. Ages ago but I still remember the fantastic views of Canyonlands National Park. So I went back to the old folders from this workshop. It was an amazing experience.
