Posted this pic on The other Ian account but so many asked so I’ll explain here

After complaints of headaches when sleeping and pulsitile tinnitus and several rounds of imaging (ct mri angiogram) it was decided that surgery was needed to prevent brain bleeds of a stroke. This was a preventative surgery, not an emergency.

Those aren’t stitches they are staples and they come out in another 10 days. It’s been a wild ride, all of July to get yo this point. Add in that huge storm knocking power out at HSC and no AC on the fifth floor while hooked up to all these machines. Still so very grateful to the Neurology team and the nurses in the step down tasked to make sure I recovered properly
