Spring and summer, and even fall, session bookings have been rolling in. I share a lot of wedding content but boy do I love family sessions!
As a mum of five, it feels very natural to me to be documenting families (because I spend so much time documenting my own!). With our kids ranging from about 2 to 9.5, I know what it's like to have toddlers who don't want to sit still in front of the camera, and I know what it's like to have a "pr***en" who doesn't want to smile.
The thing is they don't have to sit still, and I promise those pr***ens can't hold their frowns forever. Family sessions are meant to document your family as they are, in this stage of life. Even when one child is drowning in most photos, you'll look back and think. "Remember when they refused to smile for pictures?! But look, there's one where we got it!". And when your three year old is running wild and laughing in the photos, you'll look at the photos in the future and think "Remember how rambunctious they were at this age?! They drove me bananas but they were so much fun!"
With May-October being my wedding season, my weekend availability is very limited. If you're considering booking a family session, now is the time to reach out. The best place to start is the inquiry form on my website, but my DMs are also open for questions 😊
