I’ve been quiet on this page for a minute, but wedding season approaching has me in my feels a little bit. Since I started my business, I’ve been part of over 40 weddings - which is an incredible honour that I don’t take lightly.

Anyone who knows me knows that by default, I’m almost never a serious person (maybe to a fault). But even if I’M unserious, I take my responsibility with weddings incredibly seriously.

I love a beautiful posed photo as much as the next person, but the moments I take incredible pride in capturing are the real, candid and emotion-filled moments that come with every wedding. It always makes me so emotional to be in rooms filled to the brim with love, laughter and connection.

Anyone who’s gotten a gallery from me knows that they are overflowing with candids of laughter, tears, dancing, human connection and moments that many people miss.

Photos like these are, to me, the absolute most important photos that can be captured. Knowing that sometimes photos I take may be the last good photo taken of someone makes me beyond dedicated to capture them exactly as they are - so you always remember the moment and not just the face.

All of that to say, I wanted to take a moment to share a small selection of some of the most memorable photos I’ve taken over my 4-year career.

My last few years have been INSANE and even though behind the scenes I’ve been shooting, my old day job had my hours through the roof so I’ve neglected sharing what I’m up to.

Something consistent for me always is working with .thermal.spa under the direction of the incredibly talented and with the video work of . The three of us have something so special going and every single thing you’ve seen on the Evolve page has had our touch.

In the last 2 years, I’ve done 5 shoots with Abby and Tiffany and the Evolve team, and it’s truly one of the coolest spots in Moncton. Having clients who trust me to represent their brand (and then come back over and over) is truly like a love letter. I’m so thankful to be an honorary member of Evolve.

Here’s to officially being able to dive fully back into my craft and support local businesses by helping them craft the visual identity of their brands. I truly am so gracious for being given the trust and freedom to create a little dose of magic for the most lovely establishments around Atlantic Canada and beyond 🫶🏼

As some of you know, this season has been absolutely back to back with my day job and I’ve had to put my business on hold for the year to give myself time to decomp (if that’s even possible 👀)

Even though I don’t have time for more clients, I miss shooting, especially the emotions of weddings, so I’m so thankful I was able to capture some of these special moments last week during the team’s President Cup win.

There’s truly nothing more special than getting to capture the raw emotion of a moment - a posed photo can be nice, but there’s nothing that tells you about a moment quite like candids. And here’s a few of my favourites 🥹

Finally sharing the pictures I did for this summer 🔥 What a lot of people who are new(er) here might not know is I actually started photography in 2021 for my food blog 👀

I do food photography and styling as well as recipe development and this is still a huge passion of mine even though I have almost no time to cook let alone recipe develop.

BUT this post was shared as a collab post with - I wonder if that means that it’s going to have a resurgence this winter? 🤔😉
