Some love stories begin with a glance across a room. This one began a little differently — and it’s all the more beautiful for it 🤍
Derek and Amanda — both legally blind — met through the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. This summer, they’re tying the knot.
Photographing this couple shifted something in how I think about my work. Photography as an act of love for the people around you — a way of ensuring that one day, every moment will be seen, felt, and remembered by everyone who loves you. It’s a perspective I’ll carry with me into every session from here on out.
It was lovely to spend an evening with these two 🤍
If their story moves you, consider making a small donation to CNIB — an organization that changes lives for Canadians who are blind and partially sighted every day. https://secure.cnib.ca/ui/GNdonate
