A Little Life Update 🤍
I have some unexpected news to share with you all.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, my 2026 bookings are now officially closed. My current clients who have sessions and weddings already booked have been contacted directly regarding their upcoming plans, so if you’re seeing this and you’re one of my current clients, please check your messages from me.

And now for the part I never expected to be sharing quite like this…
Surprise — your favourite photographer is welcoming her first baby into our family!

I have recently been placed on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy, which means I need to step back from my normal workload and prioritize taking care of myself and this little baby we’re so incredibly excited to meet.
I know this comes with changes and uncertainty, especially for my amazing clients, and I want you to know that I am doing everything I can to make this transition as smooth as possible.
For my remaining 2026 weddings and bookings, I have an associate photographer covering my commitments so that you are still taken care of and your memories are captured beautifully.
Galleries will still be delivered, although some may take longer than the contracted timeframe due to my current circumstances. I will personally keep each client updated as their gallery progresses, and I truly appreciate your patience, grace, and understanding during this unexpected season.
As for the future… 2027 bookings are still OPEN! ✨
I will also still be answering emails and messages periodically and sharing here on social media — just with a very different and much more modified work-life balance for the foreseeable future.
This certainly wasn’t the update I imagined sharing, but we are incredibly grateful and excited to welcome our first little one, and I’m learning that sometimes life has a way of changing our plans for us.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for continuing to support my little business, for trusting me with your memories, and especially for giving me the space to take care of what matters most right now.

We spent almost half a year trying to make this session happen for Skye & Jordan’s one-year anniversary. Every date we picked came with its own surprise—rain, snow, or temperatures cold enough to make us question all our life choices.
But as it turns out, the wait was absolutely worth it.

We finally got the most beautiful day to wander through Fort Edmonton, celebrating not only their first year of marriage, but capturing one of the sweetest surprises too... a pregnancy announcement! 🤍

Some sessions are worth waiting for, and this one was a perfect reminder that sometimes the best timing isn’t the one we plan—it’s the one that unfolds exactly as it’s meant to. Congratulations, you two! I can’t wait to watch this next chapter unfold.

“Sorry... they’re a little wild.” 😅

If I had a dollar for every time a parent said that before a session, I’d probably own a coffee shop by now.

Here’s the secret: I want your kids to be kids.

They don’t need to sit still, smile on cue, or magically become tiny professional models. We’ll run, play, chase, snuggle, tell silly jokes, and maybe even make a few animal noises along the way.

I’ve got a pocket full of prompts, games, and tricks to keep everyone laughing and having fun—because the best photos happen when your family is just being your family.

The messy hair, the belly laughs, the bear hugs, and even the goofy moments? Those are the memories worth holding onto.

So leave the pressure at home. Just show up, love on your people, and I’ll take care of the rest.

While I’m busy editing all the beautiful June weddings, I had to share this gem from last year.

With all the rain we’ve had lately, I couldn’t help but think back to this day. The skies opened up before and after the ceremony, the mosquitoes were relentless, and the ground was soaked… but you’d never know it from these photos.

Wedding days rarely go exactly as planned, and that’s okay. Whether it’s scouting backup locations, chasing the best light between rain showers, or showing up with a trunk full of umbrellas, we make it work. And honestly? Sometimes the unexpected makes for the most unforgettable photos.

Wanted to share a little glimpse into this stunning mountain elopement in Kananaskis—my very first mountain wedding!
The weather may have been a little unpredictable, but that didn’t stop these two from saying “I do” surrounded by breathtaking views. Watching them embrace every moment together made the day even more special.
So grateful to have been part of such a beautiful celebration.
