Some wedding days just seem to have a little extra magic.

This couple had one of those days at Aspen Country Hills. As the evening came to a close, the sun set behind their beautiful venue and gave us this incredible moment.

These two are just so easy to love. They have this way of making each other laugh, and you can tell how comfortable they are together. Somehow they make even a quiet moment feel like something worth remembering.

I loved getting to capture their day and this little piece of their story.

Engagement sessions can make people a little nervous, especially if they have never been professionally photographed before.

But these two made it look easy. They were so natural together and easily made each other laugh. So many genuine little moments that made for such a fun session.

Some couples make my job really easy.

These two were incredible people from the moment I met them. So kind, so welcoming, and just genuinely fun to spend the day with.

Their wedding was beautiful, but what really stood out was the people. The way they cared for each other, the way their friends and family showed up for them, and how much joy there was throughout the entire day.

I am so glad we were there to capture it.

What is your favourite part of a wedding day? I often get this question and it's tough to pick.

But when you have weddings like this I would say the dance.

In a short amount of time, you get everything.

A couples first dance as husband and wife.

The emotion of the father daughter dance.

The connection of the mother son dance.

And then the dance floor fills up and the groom absolutely owns the dance floor, with the entire room celebrating.

That's what I love about this part of the day. It's real. It's emotional. It's fun.

There are moments everywhere, you just have to be ready for them.
