Tracey & Mark’s Mexico wedding… where do I even begin? 🥹🌴

These two are some of the kindest, most welcoming humans. From the very first time we met at Starbucks to chat about their day, everything felt effortless, like we’d known each other forever. They’re so down-to-earth, so genuine, and photographing their day felt like being wrapped into their little world in the best way.

There’s something so unmatched about destination weddings, especially when celebrating in beautiful places like Mexico and being in a new country, surrounded by your closest people, soaking up every moment together. Every single person is there for a reason, and you can feel that. It’s intimate, intentional, emotional, and so incredibly special. Being invited in as their wedding photographer is something I’ll never take for granted.

Getting to experience a new country for my job will never stop feeling surreal. Shooting in Cancun, witnessing this much joy and warmth, I am so grateful.

And one of my favourite moments? About 20 minutes before their first dance, Mark convinced Tracey to jump into the pool in their wedding outfits right after. 😭🤍 No one knew except us and one friend filming, and it was ICONIC. The perfect ending to a night filled with love, memories, polaroids, and one too many espresso martinis.
