There is something incredibly special about being invited into some of the biggest moments of someone’s life.

I get a front row seat to so many beautiful memories. I watch families grow, children change, couples become parents, and special moments that I have had the privilege to capture. Moments I never would have been included in if I didn't do what I did. That's something I’ll never take for granted 🥹🤍

One day, without even realizing it, you’ll pick them up for the very last time.

One day they’ll stop reaching for your hand, asking for “just one more story,” or giggling through endless games of tickles. The tea parties will be packed away, bedtime stories will become memories, and the little voice calling your name a hundred times a day will grow quieter.

That is why photographs matter. They don’t just capture what your children looked like, they preserve who they were during that short time. This chapter, where they still fit perfectly in your arms, where they believe in magic, where their greatest joy is simply spending time with you.

Photographs become a way to hold onto the moments that time refuses to slow down for. They let you revisit the laughter, the chaos, the cuddles, and the overwhelming love long after those little hands have grown.

Because years from now, these won’t just be photos. They’ll be the doorway back to the days when they were so little and so carefree 🤍

Choose a photographer who sees your family for who they truly are. Someone who not only takes good photos but who can also capture your children's unique personalities, the way they laugh, the way they cling to your hand and how they act when they are in their element. Your family photos should be so much more than perfectly posed smiles. They should tell your story in the most natural way possible. Choose someone who captures the essence of your family and not just a posed photo of them (I also make sure there are a few of those as well though 😉). The muddy feet, the bugs, the windblown hair, and all of the beautiful chaos that comes with letting your kids be kids. This season of their life is a short one, so why not capture it exactly how you'll always remember them when they were this little. Because I promise you the photos that you'll love the most 30 years down the road won't be the ones with the forced smile, it'll be the ones you can feel and that will bring you back in time to their laughter and silliness when life seemed so much more simple 🤍
