More time to settle in, let the kids warm up and capture a mix of lightly guided portraits and natural moments together. These are also perfect for couples who want to have fun, explore and make the session feel like a date.

Sessions are available throughout Halifax, Dartmouth and surrounding areas, with limited mini-session dates planned for this fall.

There’s something so special about coming together with other creatives and making beautiful art just for the fun of it. Rafe’s July meetup gave me the freedom to play with posing, experiment with lighting and create something fun with these three incredible humans, and I loved every minute of it.

Posing doesn’t have to feel scary or awkward!

One of the most common things I hear from clients is that they don’t think they’re photogenic. I'm here to tell you that is absolutely not true!

It's completely normal to feel a bit unsure in front of the camera or wonder what to do with your hands. That’s where my approach to couples photography comes in. While we’ll capture a few classic posed shots to kick things off, my primary focus is using fun, engaging prompts to get you moving, laughing, and enjoying natural couple posing that feels effortless.

My goal is to create a comfortable, stress-free environment where you almost forget the camera is even there. By shifting the focus to connecting with your partner, you'll end up with authentic, candid couples photos that truly reflect your relationship.

Graduation marks the end of years of hard work, late nights, early mornings and plenty of determination. It deserves to be remembered with more than a few rushed photographs outside the ceremony.

Your session can be completely personalized to you. We can take photographs in your cap and gown, visit a meaningful location, celebrate around campus or include the family, friends or partner who supported you along the way.

J & B’s elopement was such a beautiful celebration of love 💚

Their ceremony inside the chapel was filled with heartfelt personal vows (yes, I definitely cried behind my camera) But by the end, their playful personalities were shining through, which made these photographs even more special.

After making it official, they celebrated with ch*****ne and cupcakes before we captured a few photographs inside the chapel. Then, we headed to the Public Gardens, but I’m saving those photographs for another post!

RIP Dolly Parton 😭

Due to the weather of my original date, I still have a few spots available for the rain date of my sunflower mini sessions tomorrow afternoon. I have also added a new date on September 6, during the final holiday weekend before school begins.

This is a chance to get together before summer ends and spend one last afternoon with the kiddos before they head back to school. Let the kids explore, enjoy the sunflower fields together, and leave with photographs that will bring you back to this summer for years to come.
