These sessions are perfect if you want more movement and variety: walking, playing with the kids, cuddling, laughing, with a mix of posed family portraits and candid photos that actually feel like you.

📍 Dates & locations:

September 26, 27 & October 3 - Confederation Park
October 4 - Bowness Park / Baker Park
October 10 - North Glenmore Park
October 11 - Fish Creek Park

All outdoor lifestyle sessions are scheduled in the evening, approximately 4:00-6:30pm

Why choose Fall Minis with a setup? 🍂

A setup is not only beautiful, it also works so well for little ones! Pumpkins, apples, baskets and other little props give kids something to explore and play with. Instead of asking a toddler to sit still and smile, we let them interact with the setup, and that’s how we get those natural smiles and sweet candid moments❤️
It’s also a great option for babies who can sit independently and younger kids who don’t want to walk around the park for photos.

And yes, 20 minutes is enough! We start with baby’s portraits photos while everyone is fresh, then move on to family and candid moments. Short sessions often work best with little ones before they get tired or lose interest.

And there’s a reason fall sessions are always so popular, the colours are beautiful, the light is soft, and everything just feels a little more cozy.

But my favourite part is seeing so many of your families come back year after year 😍
I get to watch your kids grow, see how much they’ve changed since last fall, and capture another little chapter of your family.

What if my child isn’t in the mood for photos?

It happens. Kids are kids, and not every session starts with smiles and excitement. Sometimes they’re shy, tired, unsure about a new place, or simply decide that photos are absolutely not on their agenda today 😅

In that case, we slow down. I give them space, let them stay close to their parents, play a little, change the plan if needed, and work with whatever mood they bring.

I never expect a toddler to cooperate for an entire session. I usually focus on getting the most important photos while they still have energy and then follow their lead.

And even on the harder days, I almost always manage to capture enough beautiful moments for your gallery. Sometimes all we need is a few seconds of a smile, a cuddle with mom, or one little distraction that changes the mood completely ❤️

So please don’t stress if your child isn’t perfect for the photos. They don’t need to be.
