Rachel Yoon Photography is a boutique baby studio in Vancouver/Burnaby and North Vancouver. Your baby grows in a big way in the first year!

Rachel Yoon specializes in MATERNITY, BABY, and NEWBORN Photography in the Greater Vancouver area. We believe that the opportunity to capture the memory of your baby in the first year is too precious to miss. Weighing around 7 or 8 pounds at birth, your baby starts to smile in a few days, giggles in a couple of months, sits up at six months and walks in a year. Most babies add 50 percent to their birth height and triple their weight in the first year. Before you know it, your baby is too heavy to hold in your arms. At Rachel Yoon Photography, we help you capture those precious, memorable and fleeting early moments to cherish forever.

One of the biggest newborn photography myths we hear:

“I’ll decide after baby arrives.”

And honestly… we understand.

You don’t know how you’ll feel.
You don’t know your baby’s personality yet.
You don’t know what those first weeks will look like.

But one thing we do know? Life changes overnight.

The newborn days are filled with so much love, learning, and beautiful chaos — and many parents find that they have less time and energy than they imagined.

Planning ahead simply means your future self doesn’t have one more decision to make.

Your baby only stays this tiny for a moment.

Let us take care of the details while you focus on soaking it all in.

Reserve your newborn session 3 months prior to your due date and receive 2 complimentary additional images ($100 value) as a planning ahead bonus.

📩 comment NEWBORN or message us to secure your due date.

So much changes in just a few short weeks. 🤍

The delicate eyelashes. The tiny toes. The way they naturally curl up. Those early days are unlike any other. During the first few weeks, babies are often sleepier and more comfortable in the gentle, tucked poses that beautifully highlight how new they are to the world.

If you're expecting, we recommend booking your newborn session during pregnancy so everything is ready when your little one arrives and to take advantage of our Early Bird booking special.

To learn more, schedule a complimentary phone consultation with Kate through the link in our bio.
