The Erawan Temple was one of the first spots i visited with my friend Sugi Henson when we arrived in Bangkok. Standing 44 metres above the ground, the large 3 headed elephant houses a temple inside it’s body that holds many religious artifacts. Inside, the base of the structure is painted in extreme detail and features a large staircase and domed glass ceiling.

Its pretty to walk through buildings that at one time was considered the greatest civilization in the world. All of the fine hand carved stones in the wall, the halls of Ankor Wat at sunrise was probably one if the most surreal moments of my trip to Cambodia. Such a humbling experience.

Went out and did some hiking this past weekend for the first time in this trip to New Zealand. What an incredible time wandering through waterfalls and Volcanic alpine paths.

The last week in Australia was definitely one for the books. A nice little vacation from the vacation before our flight to Auckland, NZ leaves in about.... 25 minutes.

S**t.

I had my first experience exploring some caves while in Phong Nha, Vietnam. Unsure what to expect, we started hiking along a path before climbing up a hill towards the caves enterance. The 8ft wide opening in the mountain was unassuming.

For the first 10 metres it didnt seem like much. A series of stairs leading us down, deeper and deeper until it eventually opened.

I stood at the first platform in shock by what I was seeing. A huge cave, that we quickly found out was only the first “room” of the roughly 1km we would walk.

With an additional tour you can explore about 7km of the roughly 30km cave network with the rest remaining closed to tourists. Unfortunately we didnt go on that but it was unbelievable to imagine that we had only just seen a fraction of it.
