Everyone loves a dramatic before + after.
Mine usually aren't. LOL
And there's a reason for that.
The magic isn't happening in Lightroom....it's happening in my camera.
I shoot fully manual. I'm controlling my exposure, my light, my shadows, my highlights, my white balance ...all while paying attention to posing, angles, composition and what the final image is going to look like.
Before I ever press the shutter, I've already made a whole pile of decisions.
So when I bring an image into Lightroom, I'm not trying to "save" it.
I'm finishing it.
A little colour work. Contrast. Skin tones. The final polish that gives it my signature look 🔥
Editing is absolutely part of photography but knowing how to create what you want in camera is a skill I've spent years developing.
So if you swipe my before + after and think...
"That's it? It barely changed."
