It’s official, at-home engagement sessions have my heart🥹

This book-worthy little evening was SUCH a sweet way to start off September. These two were so cute, their cats were even more adorable, and getting to photograph a little piece of their everyday life made the whole session feel so personal

We started at home with some cozy photos (and lots of cat petting obviously) before wandering down to the beach nearby to finish off the evening 🌾

I already can’t wait for your wedding next year, you two!!!

These two are getting MARRIED this weekend!!!

My friends Jess & Steve are getting married this weekend!!! So bummed I won’t be there to celebrate with them in person but I feel honoured that they were some of the first people to help me start my couples photography. They let me use them as test dummies while I practiced posing and tried to figure out what the heck I was doing back in 2024!

Congratulations, you two!!! I’m so happy for you and can’t wait to see all the photos from your big day 🤍

Some stills from Peggy’s 🌊

Not my usual portfolio post, but as some of you may know, I’m fortunate enough to call Peggy’s Cove my place of work!!! I work for a collection of businesses in the heart of this iconic fishing village that really, truly represent East Coast hospitality and warmth.

Since moving to Nova Scotia almost two years ago now, I’ve just been so consistently floored by the beautiful landscapes all across the province. Seeing the ocean every day is something I wouldn’t trade for the world, and somehow I get to experience one of the province’s most iconic views on the weekly.

I think, like anyone who sees the same place every day, I sometimes forget just how insanely beautiful it really is. It becomes part of your routine, and then every once in a while you stop, look around, and remember, wow… I actually get to be here.

So anyways, I had to give Peggy’s Cove its flowers and give it a space on my grid because, say what you will about how busy the cove can get, it’s still absolutely one of the most picturesque spots (or at least I think so ☺️).

Sooooo should I keep posting my fav Nova Scotia spots???

Congratulations to everyone who graduated this year! It’s such a huge accomplishment, and I hope you’re taking the time to celebrate how far you’ve come. ❤️💙

Out of the ordinary 🤍🥹

The great thing about second shooting is getting to see a wedding day from a completely different perspective

while one photographer is locked in on the big moments, the other gets to chase the in-between ones! I’m talking about the hand squeezes, teary smiles, and the small glances

it means more angles, more depth, and a fuller story

the close-up emotions and the quiet, pulled-back moments

there’s something so special about knowing this day is being captured in a way that feels layered, honest, and complete!

This wedding in particular was such a beautiful day at Ancaster Mill, second shooting for the AMAZING !

So thankful for wedding days like these and for getting to capture love in all its little moments 🤍
