Same moment, same kids, same fierce little hug... but two completely different feelings. The colour version gives you all that warm Central Coast golden hour magic, and the black and white strips it right back to just the emotion. This little one's reaction was priceless and honestly I was giggling behind the camera the whole time saying 'oh my goodness, who said you could be this cute!'

PSA for every parent panicking in the car on the way to their newborn shoot: breathe. 😂

I have never once needed a perfectly behaved child to make beautiful images. Wiggly? Great. Shy? No problem. More interested in the camera bag than the baby? Honestly, same.
I don't push, I don't force smiles, and I am absolutely not going to stress your kids out trying to get "the shot." We keep it slow, silly, and relaxed — and the real moments just happen.
The chaos IS the story. And it's always a gorgeous one. 🥹
