I have been working as a Wedding and Event Photographer for 8 years now. I have extensive experience with this style of shooting and have regular work for both Harrigans Irish Pub and the Hunter Valley Gardens. Some of the Landscapes have won local awards and one of my images was included in Ken Duncan's latest book on the Central Coast.

Social Sunrise this week will be held at Umina Beach on Saturday, 6th June. We will meet at the base of the hill carpark before you head to Pearl Beach at 5:30 am. It is low tide at 6:58 am, so we will have access to the beach and the rocks all the way round. The rocks here are quite slippery, so if you plan to go out there, wear your spike shoes. The sunrise is at 6:53 am, and the surf is expected to be about 2.3m, so it could be interesting, especially as it's expected to out of the South South East. That's a good direction for Umina.
We will go to the Surf Club at Umina Beach for Breakfast for a change. It's at the end of Ocean Beach Rd.
Next week I'm away in Coonabarabran, so I will leave the location up to David Rushworth.

Social Sunrise this Saturday, 30th May, will be held at the Baths in Brooklyn. You can find the baths by parking at the train station carpark on Dangar Rd. The Baths are just past the end of the carpark. The baths are just the start; you can walk further round the headland to get different foregrounds. The high tide is at 7:47 am, and the Sunrise is at 6:49 am.
The cafe in Brooklyn called Brooklyn’s Corner opens at 7 a.m. It is quite small, so we may need to get takeaway and find some picnic tables in the park
Next week, we will be heading to Umina Point, onto the rocks at the front.

Social Sunrise this Saturday, the 23rd of May, will be held at Lighthouse Beach, Nora Head. We will meet at the boat ramp carpark at 5:30am and walk around to the beach. The tide will be heading to a low at 8:15am, so the rocks will be easily accessible. The tide is still expected to be rough at about 2.5m, and sunrise itself is at 6:43am.
Breakfast will be held at the Okyn Café, 446 Main Rd, Noraville NSW 2263
Next week, we will head to Brooklyn Baths, somewhere new.

Sorry, everyone, for the late notice.
Social Sunrise this week will be held at Wamberal Beach on Saturday, the 9th of May. We will meet at the carpark by the Lagoon at 5:30am. The tide is at the mid point, heading to a low at 8am. We will have the lagoon as well as the beach to shoot, and if you feel energetic, the rocks at the north end of the beach should be exposed. The sunrise is at 6:33, and the surf is expected to be 2.5 to 2.2m, so quite active.
The breakfast will be held at Sal & Co cafe on the corner of Ocean View Dr and Bundara Ave. They open at 6am.
Next week I am away in Coona for a workshop, so I will leave the location up to Murray.

Social Sunrise this week will be held on Saturday, 2nd May, at the North end of Pearl Beach. We will meet at the end of Coral Rd where the entrance to the beach is. The tide is at the mid point from a low at 3:07am, heading to a high at 8:39am. The sunrise itself is at 6:29am, and the swell is going to be about 1.1m. The last time I was there, the sand had been removed from around the rocks, so it will be interesting to see what the beach is like now.
We will go to Cookabrew at Umina Mall for Breakfast as they open early.
Next week it will again be a mid-point tide but heading to a low. We will go to Wamberal Beach, where you can shoot from the Lagoon or head up to the rocks.

My wife and I visited our friends Merrillie and David in Blayney. Merrillie is also a photographer, and we had arranged to shoot some Milky Way while we were there. I had received an Aurora alert for the weekend with a possible event on Saturday Night. As night came on, I looked to the South and noticed a slight glow. Inspecting with my Z9 and the 35mm 0.95 lens, I could easily see the red of the Aurora. We headed out to Carcoar Dam for some shots. It had died off a little by the time we arrived, but it was still visible.
Shot with the Z9 and the Laowa 15mm f2 lens, the settings were a 20-second exposure at ISO6400 at f2.

Social Sunrise this week will be held on Saturday, the 25th of April at Avoca Beach lagoon. We will meet at the carpark near the shark tower at 5:15am. The Lagoon is quite full, and it's a short walk to the beach. The tide is at the midpoint heading to a low at 9:50am.
The sunrise itself is at 6:23am.
Waves cafe in Avoca Beach is an early open so we will go there for breakfast.
Next week we will be going to the North end of Pearl Beach for Sunrise.
For those interested, we can go to Woy Woy Lions Park for Sunrise on Monday, as it's a public holiday and the tide will be high.

Social Sunrise will be held on Saturday, 11th April at Wallarah Point Peace Park. This is the park just before the Bridge into Toukley. We haven't shot there, and it is high tide, so it should be good. We will meet at 5am at the car park for the boat ramp. The sunrise is at 6:12am, and the high tide is about 4am (no exact time for this area).
For Breakfast we will go to Lou's Cafe at 309 Main Rd, Toukley NSW 2263. They open early.
Next week we will go to the North end of Forresters Beach.

Social sunrise this week will be held at Macmasters beach. It’s low tide and the rocks in the centre of the beach between Mac’s and Copa should exposed.
Park by the ammenities block just as you arrive at the beach. We will meet at 6am
For those who don’t want to walk across the sand or which to fly there drones, tou can head to the surf club instead.
Low tide is at 4:40am so the rocks will be exposed and the surf is expected to be 1.7m.
We will stay attacks surf club for breakfast as it opens at 7:30.
We will be shooting Monday morning at a special social sunrise at Avoca Beach meeting at 5 am ( daylight savings finished) the cafe there opens early for breakfast as well.
