Golden light, salty air, tiny hands, and the kind of love that lives in the quiet in-between moments.

My favourite family sessions are never just about the perfectly posed photo. They’re about movement, connection, the way little hands reach for safety, the glance between parents, sandy toes, wind in dresses, and all the beautifully imperfect moments that make this season worth remembering.

The kind of memories that may feel ordinary now… but one day will mean everything 🤍

Hot pink, golden light, and a whole lot of memories.
From nervous excitement to corsages, family hugs, stolen quiet moments, and all the little details in between… these are the moments that become the memories.
Formal season is always such a beautiful mix of glamour and emotion 🥹

I started photography for people, connection, and storytelling… but somewhere along the way, I completely fell in love with wildlife too.

There’s something about slowing down enough to notice the details, behaviour, and light… then going home and learning about what you’ve captured.

I think this beautiful character is an Australian Raven, photographed at Townsville Common Conservation Park in that dreamy golden light. Their pale eyes and intelligent presence make them impossible not to stop and admire.

But if I’ve got the species wrong, please kindly correct me I’m genuinely loving learning more about our local wildlife as I go 🥹

The more I photograph wildlife, the more fascinated I become.

One thing I love about being a photographer is how much it changes the way you see everyday places. A roadside paddock suddenly becomes art when golden hour hits just right 🤎

Sometimes it’s muddy paddocks, soft light, feathers, fur, and quiet moments that deserve to be remembered too 🤎

Photography has a funny way of making you notice beauty in places you may have once walked straight past.
