Ohhh this beautiful boy! 🥹✨ What an absolute dream he was to photograph.

There is something so incredibly special about those first few weeks, the tiny details, the sleepy cuddles, the little fingers and toes, and the way a brand-new baby fits so perfectly into their family.

And the sweetest feedback from Mum after seeing her gallery:

“Woww, your photos are insanely beautiful.” 🥹🤍

What an absolute DREAM this beautiful girl was to photograph.

From the moment she arrived, she was so calm, so sweet and so incredibly loved. You can feel the love surrounding this little girl in every single image, the kind of love that makes your heart ache in the very best way. 🥹

There is something so special about being invited into those first precious days of a baby’s life and preserving all of those tiny details that change far too quickly. Her little features, those perfect lips, her tiny fingers and the way her family already adores her… these are the moments you’ll treasure forever.

This is exactly why I do what I do. 🥹🤍

Mum’s reaction when she opened her newborn gallery:

“Wowwwwww they are absolutely gorgeous 😭🤍 They turned out amazing, even the ones with Kennedy not wanting to cooperate! Every image is amazing!”

And then… they chose to upgrade to the full gallery. 🥹❤️

Because newborn sessions aren’t about getting a perfectly behaved baby or making every image look the same.

They’re about capturing your baby exactly as they are, the sleepy moments, the little expressions, the cuddles, the chaos, the connection and all those tiny details you’ll one day desperately wish you could go back to.

Two years ago, I met this beautiful mama at a wedding. 🤍

What started as meeting through the wedding industry has turned into me now having the privilege of working alongside her at several wedding, celebrating love stories together from behind the scenes.

And now, two years later, I’ve had the absolute honour of stepping away from the wedding world and into something even more precious… capturing her own beautiful new chapter.

From meeting as a celebrant and photographer, to working together at multiple weddings, and now photographing her precious newborn, I just love how life brings the most beautiful full-circle moments.

It’s such a privilege to be trusted to capture these fleeting days… the tiny fingers, sleepy cuddles, newborn goodness and the beginning of a whole new story.

Some stories make you realise just how precious these moments really are. 🤍

Last year, I had the absolute joy of photographing this beautiful family, and this time, they returned with their newest little love, Zara Rose. 🌸

Mum had endured HG throughout her pregnancy and, understandably, there were moments when she simply didn’t feel up to facing anything or anyone.

But then she met her little girl. 🥹

And suddenly, this tiny person she had carried through such a difficult pregnancy was here… and Mum knew she couldn’t let these fleeting newborn days pass without capturing them.

So here we are.

A beautiful little girl. A family growing. And memories that will forever take her back to the moment she first held her daughter in her arms.

Zara Rose, you are already so incredibly loved. 🤍

One of those sessions that feels even more precious when you know what came next… 🤍✨

A beautiful sunset maternity session with Kate & Liam, celebrating the little wonder they were so patiently waiting to meet.

Little did we know, baby Savannah wasn’t going to keep them waiting much longer. 🥹🤍

Looking back at these images now, knowing that their beautiful girl would be in their arms so soon after, makes every little moment feel that much more magical.

The anticipation. The love. The tiny kicks.
That beautiful in-between moment before everything changed forever.

She thought she was simply coming for a maternity session… 🤍

But tucked amongst the lush greenery and quiet beauty of the gardens, there was another little moment waiting to unfold.

A growing belly.
A love that has already created a family.
And a question that would change everything. 💍

Somehow, a maternity session became a proposal, and I got to witness the exact moment she realised what was happening.

The tears.
The disbelief.
The laughter.
The “is this really happening?” moment.

And then… that ring. ✨

There are few things more beautiful than capturing a couple as they step into a new chapter together — but being trusted to photograph a moment they had no idea was coming?

That’s something I’ll never forget.

From maternity to motherhood, from “yes” to forever… these are the moments that deserve to be remembered. 🤍

Some seasons of life ask us to slow down.

To pause.
To breathe.
To place our hands over the little life growing beneath them and realise that, one day, this quiet anticipation will become a face you’ll never stop looking at.

This evening gave us everything. Golden light spilling across the field, dramatic skies, and those beautifully in between moments that can’t be posed. The gentle smiles, the forehead kisses, the whispered conversations with a baby who could already feel just how loved they are.

These are the moments I hope my families remember.

Not just what they looked like.

But how it felt.

The excitement.
The calm before life changes forever.
The overwhelming love for someone they hadn’t even met yet.

Pregnancy is such a fleeting chapter. Some days feel long, but somehow these months disappear in the blink of an eye. That’s why I believe these memories deserve more than a phone photo. They deserve to be preserved in a way that takes you straight back to this exact feeling, years from now.

To this beautiful couple, thank you for trusting me to tell the beginning of your family’s next chapter. I already know your little one is arriving in a world overflowing with love. 🤍

✨ Maternity sessions are best photographed between 32 and 36 weeks to capture that beautiful bump while you’re still feeling comfortable enough to enjoy the experience.
