Beautiful little Charlotte and her “pre-backup” portraits 🤍

What are backup photos? They’re the sweet, simple portraits I capture before the cake smash begins—just in case our little birthday star isn’t too keen on cake or the bath afterwards. After all, babies don’t always stick to the script!

These few minutes are so important. It gives your little one time to warm up, play with some toys, get comfortable with me, and most importantly, it helps me discover exactly what brings out those gorgeous giggles and smiles.

And honestly… these natural, joy-filled moments often become some of the most treasured images from the entire session. ✨
