I’ll be honest, this year I wasn’t going to do Mother’s Day Mini’s.
Some years it’s difficult organising them in the middle of the busiest part of my year.
Logistically it’s hard and throw in weather and they can be a nightmare to reschedule (but thanks to this gorgeous Mumma- I did them) and not only did i hold one round but two!
Some beautiful sunrise sessions complete with my favourite sea mist and some happy sunset ones with gorgeous creamy light.
Truly the main reason it was a big YES from me is that MOTHERHOOD is one of the reasons why I do this! And why I love what I do.
I’m so passionate about making sure that mums are “in the photo” we are there for it all, the night time wake up’s, the scraped knees, the meal refusal, the first day at school, every sports game, the bedtime stories, just every beautiful and messy part of motherhood.
So to the mums who are always the ones taking the photo, please get in the frame!!
Your children won’t look back and see a ‘perfect’ outfit or a ‘good’ hair day—they will see the way you looked at them and the way it felt to be held by you.
These photos aren’t just for you, they are for them, twenty years from now.
