Final supermoon of 2025 called a “cold moon” and it was a spectacular one. It was huge and glowing golden as it rose.
Called a cold moon because in the northern hemisphere it marks the beginning of winter and is close to the shortest day of the year.

Vivid Sydney has been running for nearly 2 weeks and finishes tomorrow night.

I braved the cold to explore the foreshores near Luna Park to try and get the and the in the same shot.
The main challenge was to get a break from all the boats going past. It took quite a lot of patience.
