I captured this beautiful family last week, snuggling their sweet little girl in close. Holding her safe, brushing sand away from her little hands and marveling at her beauty.

At the same time another part of Sydney was falling apart. The devastation at Bondi has consumed our minds, my children have had endless questions and we have donated to the families, registered for blood donations and prayed for the families and communities managing their extreme loss.

We are constantly thinking of our Jewish friends, our Bondi mates and the incredible heroes who stepped in so naturally to protect and care.

These holidays we are bringing kindness and light in abundance, holding those we love close and tight and making the most of the small moments that mean the most ❤️

Merry merry Christmas, especially to this divine little boy who absolutely captured my heart in his newborn shoot. Oh my heart!

Thank you to all the families who have squeezed their end of year Christmas shoots in the last six weeks. It’s been absolutely hectic but such a beautiful honor to capture you and your families.

I will definitely be doing Christmas beach minis next year (sorry in the chaos they just don’t happen this year) and will email all previous client early next year with a date to put in the diary!

I hope your days yesterday were full of fun and family and a glass of champagne.

When your whole world fits in your hands.

The memory of that weight of a newborn in my hands is etched in my memory. How you could cradle their whole being in just the palm of two hands.

Now I’ll take any offered opportunity of a hand holding, a snuggle or just a quiet sit moment.

My newborns are now fully booked until late Feb. if you are due in march/april/may I have very limited in home and studio newborn sessions. Not just ‘portraits’ but moments, memories and the minute details.

Me too bub, me too!

End of year absolute whirlwind here. Three kiddos finishing up school, shooting all the way until Christmas Eve and then family arriving and ready to set down the tools and have a summer with my family.

I am fully at capacity now until February 2025, and then only have limited space until April when I’ll open booking for the next quarter.

Newborn studio bookings are filling up quickly for 2025, so get in touch if you’re due in the first half of 2025!

Jack’s story • a little over a year ago Jaimee and I connected over a combined love of the northern beaches and our favorite fashion designer (of course!). She had been wanting a family photo shoot so we quickly lined up a family shoot for herself, her husband Trent and their two gorgeous, rambunctious boys.

Fast forward two weeks and a devastating message from Jaimee, Jack had been diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Discovered when he came home from kindy with a limp. Her mama instant knew something was not right. He had started treatment almost immediately but she desperately wanted to capture their gorgeous family in life as they knew it. Cuddled up and cosy in their beautiful home.

Two days later I spent a glorious afternoon at their incredible home. Full of big feel good moments, of giggles, tickles, trampoline bouncing, hide and seek and lots and lots of cuddles.

Jack and his divine big brother Ted kept me on my toes all afternoon and completely captured my heart.

Jack has spent the last year making hospital home. Endless treatments and surgeries and he has been the bravest of little boys. The best treatment for Jack was a US based treatment at the eye-watering cost of $500,000. The northern beaches community rallied and the community close to the family have tirelessly raised the funds to give this family the very best chance.

Then a few weeks ago Jack relapsed.

The only treatment for this little boy is based in Italy and has a much bigger financial burden than the US one.

They are so close to their target of $700,000 and need every bit of support anyone can muster.
