The algorithm says that, in order to be successful on social media, I need to shoot vertical video and post reels. However, the problem is, thats not what I do… 😳

So…. this year has been super weird.

Normally I photograph 35-40 weddings each year however we are now 8 months into 2026, and I’ve only photographed a grand total of 3 so far (just as well I’m busy with other photography jobs!).

So, what’s going on? Are people just not getting married anymore? From all accounts weddings in Noosa are down by 60-70% across the board, but things are just so quiet this year in the weddings world that it’s crazy.

Are ideas on where all the Sunshine Coast brides have gone?

Todays Sunshine Coast Marathon event was a great day of adventure which started with rain and grey skies and finished in beautiful midwinter sunshine. And with over 15,000 athletes hitting the pavement, it was another huge success. Congratulations to all participants and thanks for the smiles!
