I’ve always wanted to take photos that made me feel something. Made the emotions jump out from the screen. Whether these translate that way for anyone else, these I feel, and maybe feel too much. I feel the swollen eyes from crying too hard, the tightness in my chest and the immense darkness while clawing desperately to find the light. These are hard to look at and yet, have given me something that I’ve always wanted to create. Work that feels the most true and honest — a passion piece I guess we will call it. So here we are, coming back around, trying to find the pieces that of me that broke off along the way. Special thanks to for helping me execute and for the lovely parting gift.

Im not sure how or when it happened, but posting to instagram started to feel like work instead of creative enjoyment. I have so many photos on my computer that I’ve never really looked at and never shared, maybe in fear that they weren’t going to be liked enough or fit the stupid instagram mold. But now I kind of just want to say screw that and start using this as a creative platform again—for me, not anybody else. No stress, just what I like and what I see. Hiatus is over, and I’m back babyyyy (but maybe with a little more spice ✨).
