Meet Ayaka Stafford.

From Western Suburbs District Cricket Club to Queensland pathways, Australian U19 representation and representing Japan on the international stage, Ayaka’s cricket journey gave us plenty of inspiration for this creative portrait series.

For this collection, we wanted to go beyond the traditional sporting portrait and create something that reflects the different teams, colours and chapters that have shaped her journey so far.

Ayaka Stafford is continuing to build a strong name for herself in cricket.
An all-rounder with a solid work ethic, Ayaka represents Western Suburbs in Brisbane, Australia U19 Women, Japan and Queensland U19 Women’s squad.
We recently had the pleasure of photographing her, and it was great to capture her focus, energy, and determination both on and off the field. Distinct Photography Australia is proud to support Ayaka as she continues to move forward in her cricket journey.
