❄️ What a winter it has been!
Winter is always one of the busiest times of the year for Darren J McCabe Photography, but 2026 has been particularly busy — and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Over the past few months, I have created an incredible 345 team photos for 13 clubs and events:

⚽ Brisbane Valley Soccer Club – 35
⚽ Beaudesert Soccer Club – 31
🏏 Strollers Cricket Club - 9
⚽Olympic FC – 64
🏑 Thistles Ladies Hockey Club Ipswich – 6
⚽ Silkstone Baptist Soccer Club – 11
🏉 Valleys Diehards – 14
🏑 Hockey Queensland U14 Boys State Championships – 17
🏑 Under 12 Hockey Coulter Shield (for Ipswich Hockey) – 18
🏑 Under 12 Hockey Southern Cross – 3
And that’s just the team photos!
During the same period, I have also had the privilege of photographing a 100-year luncheon and centenary celebrations for Ipswich Netball Association, action photos for Faith Lutheran College - Plainland, 3 football games, 4 rugby league games and 4 hockey games, along with an 18th birthday party, 2 formals and a wedding!
It has certainly been a very busy few months, with plenty of late nights editing, printing and preparing orders — but I am incredibly grateful for the support that has kept me so busy.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported Darren J McCabe Photography, whether you have booked me, purchased photos, shared my posts, recommended my business or simply been patient while waiting for me to work through the mountain of photos and orders.
Thank you to my wife, Teresa, who has attended most of the team photo sessions. Teresa is a huge help when it comes to capturing the names of the players in each photo - not a small job. Teresa's support means the world to me. ❤️

Brisbane Vally family, keep a look out for one of own who’s reported missing!!

Missing child has not came home after school yesterday and has been reported missing with police if anyone has seen this child in Ipswich area riverlink booval Redbank etc can you please call police or message me on Facebook thank you and he doesn't have a mobile phone either.
