❤️ THIS. THIS IS WHY I DO WHAT I DO! ❤️

You know, there are so many things I love about being a photographer. The beautiful moments, the laughter, the connections, and getting to be part of some pretty special milestones in people's lives.

But one of the absolute BEST parts of my job?

Getting feedback like this. 🥹

I had the pleasure of photographing a formal session, and receiving such lovely words afterwards honestly made my day!

As a photographer, I put so much of my heart into what I do. From making sure everyone feels comfortable in front of my camera to capturing those gorgeous little moments and delivering photographs that I hope will be treasured for years to come.

So when someone takes a few minutes out of their day to tell me how much they loved their experience or their photos... well, it means more than they probably realise.

And as a small creative business, reviews and testimonials are worth their weight in gold! They help other people find me, give them confidence to book, and remind me that all the hard work, late nights editing and occasional ridiculous things I do to get a smile are absolutely worth it.

Now that the news is officially out and NYX will be calling Warwick home from February, I've started thinking a lot about the families I'm going to meet there.

And I thought I should probably tell you exactly what kind of families I'm looking for.

Ready?
I'm looking for...
The family with the kid who never stops moving.
The family whose toddler is currently in their "I DO IT MYSELF" era.
The Mum who has approximately 46,000 photographs of her children on her phone and is in roughly seven of them.
The Dad who has already announced that family photographs aren't really his thing.
The teenagers who will pretend this is deeply embarrassing but secretly end up having fun.
The grandparents who haven't had a beautiful photograph with all the grandkids in years.
The family who thinks: "We're probably too chaotic for professional photos." You're not. You're exactly who I want.
Because I'm not interested in turning your family into something it isn't for an hour.
I don't want perfect.
I want you.
Your little jokes.
Your relationships.
The way your toddler reaches for you.
The way your kids make each other laugh.
The look between Mum and Dad when the children are doing something ridiculous.
The chaos.
The connection.
The bits that feel completely ordinary right now but won't always be.
That's what I want to photograph.
I've spent years doing exactly that with families around Ipswich.
And now I'm ridiculously excited to start building those same relationships with families around Warwick and the Southern Downs.

60TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

Sixty years of marriage. 🌟 I had the privilege of capturing this incredible 60th anniversary celebration, surrounded by four generations of family.
