Hope everyone's enjoying the last few days of the year. I'm easing back into it and excited to share a little wildlife moment I had with a variegated fairywren at Toohey Forest that made me smile.

🎄 Christmas deliveries are now closed, but local pickup in Ipswich is still available right up until Christmas Eve for any last‑minute gifts!

A huge thank you for all the wonderful orders over the past few weeks, it’s been exciting to see jigsaw puzzles heading out locally as well as to Toowoomba, Mooloolaba, and even travelling as far as Victoria to name a few destinations. Australia Post has done a stellar job getting them delivered promptly and safely.

I still have puzzle stock, a handful of coasters and some 11x4 matted prints available if you’re looking for something unique to pop under the tree.

✨ After a short family weekend away at the theme parks on the Gold Coast, I came home to such a lovely surprise - a bunch of new followers and a few fresh orders waiting for me!

📦 Being made now and heading out soon to NSW and Victoria:
- Coomba Falls at Maidenwell, Qld - a 1000 piece Australian landscape puzzle.
- Another copy of the Bush Stone-Curlew, celebrating our unique Australian wildlife.

🎄 I’ll also be placing an order for more stock later today or tomorrow, so there’ll be plenty of Australian made jigsaw puzzles available for those last-minute Christmas gift buyers.

🌿 A little throwback: a shot of my son at Coomba Falls taken after the puzzle image, he was using my old camera to craft his own image. 💙 It was shared by Queensland Country back in 2019, one of a couple of my images they have shared over the years and such a proud moment that continues to inspire me today.

Boom!! Caught this lightning bolt in the sunset storm this afternoon from the safety of the carport. Can safely say the street light is energised now. If you look closely, you can see a few flying fox were caught up in the mix as well.

🐨 On my last visit to Whites Hill Reserve, I came across this wild koala mum and her joey cuddled together, watching quietly as I took a few shots. They didn’t move much, just blinked slowly and kept an eye on me. Classic koala behaviour, and a real treat to capture. The third shot, look at how lovingly the mum embraces her joey's paw while they both snooze. Further along I found another two koalas resting and snoozing in the trees.

Koalas in the wild have a way of reminding us to slow down and look up. If you love wildlife, photography, and the serenity of nature, follow along - there’s always more waiting in the treetops.

Happy Wrensday!
This little stunner is the red-backed fairywren, one of the brightest gems in Australian birdlife. Caught through my lens, it's a little reminder of how rewarding wildlife photography can be. Always a thrill to spot these tiny bursts of colour in the bush!
