I wouldn't change a thing." Motherhood can be a daunting and often a scary experience, especially when raising little boys. One thing I have learnt, is to ALWAYS keep them busy, otherwise they will start dismantling you home piece by piece.

Does anyone else’s photographer brain just NEVER shut the hell up? 😂

I’ll be sitting on the couch watching TV and suddenly think, ohhhh imagine a shoot in that location… with this outfit… at sunset…

Then there are the 5am ideas. The ones where you convince yourself you’ve just come up with THE MOST AMAZING CONCEPT EVER… only to wake up and have absolutely no idea what you meant by the note “woman, red fabric, horse?” 😂

Eight years into this photography thing and apparently the creative brain still has no off switch.

Always thinking. Always planning. Always seeing photos everywhere.

Please tell me I’m not the only one? 😂📸

I love that first year with a baby 🥹

The little personalities start coming out, the chubby rolls, the curious faces and of course… those gummy smiles.

And honestly? I will do whatever it takes to get one 😂 The weird noises, dancing around like an idiot, making ridiculous sounds… absolutely no dignity left behind.

So yes, give me all the babies. Especially the smiley ones 😭

There’s something pretty special (and nerve racking) about being asked to photograph another photographer.

Because they know what goes into it.

So when another talented photographer trusts you to capture their family, their story, their memories… honestly, it is a huge compliment.

So thank you to all the talented photographers who have stepped in front of my camera. It means more than you know.

I think it’s the playing around with light and shadow that I love most. It keeps things interesting and makes me look at a location a little differently. I don’t always want everything to be perfectly lit. I like seeing what happens when I just let the light do its thing.
