There’s something about a silhouette that strips away the distractions and lets the shapes tell the story. And this little mob lined up along the ridge certainly gave me one. 📷

While I’m usually out photographing birds, wildlife and nature 📸✨, Biz Blitz is actually the only event I volunteer to capture each year.

As a nature photographic artist, event photography isn’t normally my 'thang' – but I’m a huge supporter of local businesses, creatives and start-ups through both my businesses – BroomstickChick Photography by Dani Musicka and Designed By Magic – so this event is one that’s always close to my heart.

I love seeing passionate local people back themselves, share their ideas and grow their businesses, and I’m really looking forward to once again capturing all the energy and excitement of the night.

These little birds never sit still for long, which makes moments like this feel extra special to capture 📷

I love how wildlife photography quietly teaches patience – sometimes the smallest creatures leave the biggest impression.

Life has a funny way of pulling us in different directions, and before you know it – months pass between posts! 🤦‍♀️

But behind the scenes, I’ve still been noticing the little things … (you know I can’t resist a good macro moment 📷)

This one was captured on a rainy day at Bondi Beach back in February – proof that even the simplest details can make you stop.

So, consider this a gentle “𝙄’𝙢 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚”… and a promise to share more of what I’ve been seeing lately.
