That’s a wrap for 2026 Gala and what an absolute blast of an evening!

Thank you to the incredible team that put this together and thank you to all the amazing vendors who work so hard for our couples. This night was a chance to celebrate everything that we all do and love to do.

Something you may or may not know about us is that we shoot film!

We genuinely love shooting film, and it’s become such a fun part of how we see and capture wedding days.

This frame was captured during Elise's final moments and first look with her dad (scroll to the last slide) Calm, beautiful, full of heart and the perfect kind of moment for film.

This was shot on our Widelux which is a completely manual film camera that creates the most unique, sweeping perspective. It’s quirky, a little unpredictable, and gives images that unmistakable magic you just can’t replicate.

You might’ve even heard us nerding out about this camera recently on the

I think we might need to introduce more film into our wedding days, 35mm, 120mm and Super 8 will be coming in hot soon!

We think it deserves a lot more time in the limelight.

S&G — can we just run that back every weekend? Because we’d be VERY okay with that!

These two flew down from the mainland… and casually brought basically everyone they know with them to celebrate at the stunning .

From the moment the day kicked off, it was pure magic — elegant, intentional, and absolutely bursting with joy. Every moment felt like it mattered. Every hug hit a little harder. You could feel the love ripple through every single guest from start to finish.

Also — a very big, very heartfelt thank you to Gab for trusting us to capture it all. Being chosen by another creative to document a wedding, That never gets taken lightly. It means everything.

Sarah & Kris — the couple who knew a secret to a good wedding day: Let. It. Go.

They came down from the Gold Coast expecting a beautiful Tassie wedding day… and got a full-blown storm instead. Wind, rain, chaos — the whole package.

Did it go to plan? Not even close. Did it matter? Not one bit.

Why? Because these two leaned in. They laughed through it, embraced it, and had the kind of day where the energy was so good, everyone else just followed their lead.

Their first kiss was an absolute scene. Right as the skies opened up and the rain came down like something out of a movie.

Then it was a mad dash up the hill at Frogmore — guests running, laughing, soaking wet — straight into drinks, a crackling fireplace, warm food, and the kind of atmosphere you coudn't plan. It was perfect.

Huge shoutout to some MVPs Laura from XO Sounds and Sofia from Special Day Content — who, in the middle of the chaos, helped save some gear while we all took cover. We love you!

Proof that sometimes the best weddings aren’t the ones that go to plan… they’re the ones where you just let go and enjoy the hell out of it

Last week at was one of those weddings that just felt special from the very beginning.

These two have the most genuine, deep connection — the kind you don’t need to direct or manufacture. It’s just there in every look, every laugh, every quiet moment in between.

Their day was beautiful from start to finish. Relaxed, full of love, and surrounded by the absolute best crew of humans who showed up for them and celebrated every second.

And behind the scenes — an incredible team of vendors who absolutely delivered, making sure everything ran seamlessly and looked/sounded unreal while doing it.

We loved every second of being part of it.

Morgan & Joseph — date night, but make it flowers everywhere 🌸🌸🌸

These two booked out the insanely beautiful and turned their engagement session into the dreamiest little dahlia-filled date.

Wandering through rows of blooms, laughing, soaking it all in — and yes, with us casually third-wheeling behind the camera the whole time.

This is exactly how engagement sessions should feel: relaxed, intimate, and actually fun.

Earthenry is one of those spots that just hits — perfect for slowing things down, being in the moment, and creating something that looks unreal.

If this session is anything to go by, their wedding next year is going to be something special… and we already can’t wait.

True story time: When we first started weddings, we swore we were going to be dark and moody (which to be fair is still us before coffee hits).

But then weddings basically slapped us across the face and said “everything is colourful and people are happy, you fools!”.

And honestly, every time we step into a wedding now, we see all these ridiculous, gorgeous colours and emotional humans and think, “Yeah nah… why would we hide any of this?”

Saturday with Kate & Jack at was the ultimate proof, their day wasn’t moody, it was full of aggressively beautiful moments. Kate’s vows even had me wiping away a tear (well done again Kate).

told their story in the most perfect way and we are so grateful to the absolute legends who helped this day flourish so brightly.
