We spend a lot of time celebrating everyone else’s wedding days, so today we thought we’d take a little moment to celebrate us.

Happy 3rd wedding anniversary to my favourite partner in crime, business partner, travel buddy and person I still want to hang out with every single day.

Three years married, countless adventures, far too many hours spent talking about weddings, and we still easily choose each other every day.

We’ve built a pretty awesome life together and somehow along the way, we also built a little business that lets us spend our weekends celebrating other people falling in love.

Not a bad gig if you ask me.

We've been quietly hibernating in the off season but we are back! Libby & Travis kicked off our season in absolute perfection, an intimate wedding with their closest humans and it was something special.

Everyone, meet Walter (or Walt). 👋

Walter is our newest employee. He's tiny, doesn't need dinner breaks, has zero concept of personal space, and has one very important job - to capture behind-the-scenes from a wedding day.

If you've noticed, every second reel these days has BTS footage. Social media has become obsessed with seeing what happens behind the camera, so we've finally caved and hired Walter to do the hard work.

From this season onwards, Walter will be joining us at every wedding. You'll probably spot him attached to one of us, quietly judging our dance moves, getting way too close during the confetti toss, and generally documenting the mayhem.

So if you're one of our couples, make sure you say hi to Walter on your wedding day. He loves attention. (He also has absolutely no choice.)

Every little moment Walter captures helps us tell an even bigger story.

That’s a wrap for 2026 Gala and what an absolute blast of an evening!

Thank you to the incredible team that put this together and thank you to all the amazing vendors who work so hard for our couples. This night was a chance to celebrate everything that we all do and love to do.

Something you may or may not know about us is that we shoot film!

We genuinely love shooting film, and it’s become such a fun part of how we see and capture wedding days.

This frame was captured during Elise's final moments and first look with her dad (scroll to the last slide) Calm, beautiful, full of heart and the perfect kind of moment for film.

This was shot on our Widelux which is a completely manual film camera that creates the most unique, sweeping perspective. It’s quirky, a little unpredictable, and gives images that unmistakable magic you just can’t replicate.

I think we might need to introduce more film into our wedding days, 35mm, 120mm and Super 8 will be coming in hot soon!

We think it deserves a lot more time in the limelight.

S&G — can we just run that back every weekend? Because we’d be VERY okay with that!

These two flew down from the mainland… and casually brought basically everyone they know with them to celebrate at the stunning .

From the moment the day kicked off, it was pure magic — elegant, intentional, and absolutely bursting with joy. Every moment felt like it mattered. Every hug hit a little harder. You could feel the love ripple through every single guest from start to finish.

Also — a very big, very heartfelt thank you to Gab for trusting us to capture it all. Being chosen by another creative to document a wedding, That never gets taken lightly. It means everything.
