Film Dev & Scan drop off at Full Gamut!

From Monday 2nd Feb, Full Gamut will be managing the film development drop off & partnering with a new lab for the processing & scanning.

Unfortunately Hobart Film Co, has had their machine break down & it is unable to be repaired. We have decided to continue providing this service as it aligns with our photographic background, photo printing & sale of 35mm/120 film.

The Fine print!
- approx. 1 week turn around service for colour film
- approx. 10 -15 + days turn around for BW film, as it’s hand processed
- This is a develop & scan process - no prints are provided
- You will be sent a link to download your files, via email
- Regular dev & scan - 3200 x 2130px - choose for using on social media, making regular 6x4" sized prints or if you aren’t planning to make any further edits to the file.(you can print up to 20x30cm)
-Hi -Res Tiff Scan - 6700 x 4460px - choose if likely to make additional edits or wanting to print larger images.
-Developed negatives will be held at Full Gamut for a max. of 60days, then disposed of.
-Push / Pull service is not available

This is a referral service, managed by Full Gamut. Films are not processed on site. Full Gamut are partnered with a Victorian lab, who we have chosen based on their strict machine maintenance routine & daily chemical control strip testing. The rolls of film will be express posted to the lab each Monday afternoon - with tracking.

Hi all, I'm going to be closing the business at the end of the month.

Unfortunately due to low volume, and constant machine issues, I simply can't afford to keep operating.

Until I sell my main scanner, I'll be sending films off to the mainland for development, so turnaround will be ~1 week.

The C41 machine needs a lot of work and money put in to it, so will likely be parted out as it's worth more in parts than as-is.

I am open to offers on a few things, like the Noritsu LS-600 scanner, an Epson V800 flatbed scanner; and the Noritsu QSF-V30SM (converted to RA).

Hi all, the last batch of black and white for 2025 will be sent off on Friday 19th December, so please get them in before then!

As for next year, everything should be back to normal when my local guy has the time.

For colour films, or anything else; I don't plan on stopping, and will have an alternate drop off area whilst Full Gamut have their break.

Hey all, everything is up and running smoothly, and I have a new colleague doing B/W for me. Turnaround for B/W will be around once a week (depending on which film stock). Normal colour C41 will be 24-72hrs.

We are now stocking film for sale! A selection of 120 & 35mm BW and colour 35mm!
Full Gamut don’t process film but Hobart Film Co. has a drop box there at 197 Harrington st, and develop & scan on site.

Hi all, the last batch of B/W for this year will be done on Saturday the 16th of December. So if you could get them in by Friday the 15th, that would be great.

Colour film I'll continue to do most days, and have no intention of stopping over the xmas break.

New scanner (LS-600) is up and running finally. Once I catch up on previous orders, turnaround for colour 35mm film should be back to usual; 2-24hrs
