My iPhone storage is constantly 99% full, but I wouldn’t have it any other way 🫶🏻

There’s SO MUCH that never makes it onto here from these incredible wedding days. The behind the scenes, funny bits, people I’m lucky enough to work alongside every week, so much planning and inspiration, the occasional mishaps, and approximately 50GB of confetti exits that I absolutely refuse to delete.

My camera roll is basically a running archive of this little business and all the beautiful chaos that comes with it. The things that inspire me, the people who make these days happen, and all those tiny moments happening around the photographs you eventually see in the finished gallery.

So over the next little while, I want to share a little more of it. Not just the finished photographs, but the world that exists around them too. Because that’s where so much of the magic actually lives.

In a sea of perfect portfolios, polished bios and carefully curated feeds, I think I’m ready to loosen the reins a little.

A little less ‘look at my work’, and a little more come along with me 🤍

Feeling a little nervous about photos? Sessions are my FAVOURITE way to shake the nerves before the big day!

Think of them like a warm up - you get a feel for how I pose and prompt you, and I learn what works best for the two of you.

So, by the time your wedding day comes around you’re already a pro! We’ve done this before and you know exactly what to expect.

Planning a wedding for 2027? You're not late (in fact, now's the perfect time to start locking in the details) 🤍

For a long time, it wasn't unusual for me to hear from couples 12–18 months before their wedding. Lately, I'm having more and more conversations with couples around the 6–9 month mark.

I actually think it's a nice reminder that there's no single correct timeline for planning a wedding.

Some couples have their entire vendor team assembled within weeks of getting engaged. Others lock in a venue, take a breather, and slowly work out what they want the rest of their day to look and feel like.

So if you're planning a 2027 wedding and photography is still sitting somewhere on that very long to-do list, you're certainly not the only one.

Lauren & Dan's wedding day at the Officer's Mess in Brisbane 🤍

We joked on the day that perhaps we'd stumbled upon the Lake Como of Brisbane: a waterfront ceremony, terraced houses lining the opposite shore, and that beautiful mid-afternoon light giving everything just a little extra touch of class.

Then, because apparently the day needed a little more drama, a sun shower swept through right before the ceremony...

Only to clear in time for a rainbow to appear behind them as they shared their first kiss!

Talk about everything falling perfectly into place 🌈 🩷
