7 years ago today I moved to Geelong on a whim from Wagga, not knowing anyone (Bipolar diagnosis makes sense now 😂😂)
With a wild journey of Bipolar, endometriosis, sobriety, histamine intolerance just to name a few 😂😂😂 I’ve certainly learned a lot about myself during my 20s here.
In 2021, after a surgery and a bad life event, I moved back to NSW for 2 months and for the first time brought on subcontractors, because I wasn’t ready to give up on what I was building in Geelong. I’ll always be grateful for those who worked alongside me when my body and mind couldn’t do it alone.
The last 18 months saw 30–50 shoots every month with only 8 weeks of proper leave, with 98% of those captured by me 😅 Work was how I got through each day. Now I’m on the other side of my health, I can breathe. More balance, more adventure, more time with family and friends.
31 very soon and ready for whatever’s next. Travelling to other states for work is something I really want to do more of!
The second photo was taken in Wagga the day I found out I got approved for a house in Geelong if only she knew what was to come 😅!
