I’ve always been a creator at heart.
Little me would sit on the floor with stacks of magazines, cutting out beautiful faces and outfits, scrapbooking my own “designs” like I was running a mini fashion house in my bedroom.

As I grew up, styling became one of my favourite ways to express myself (listen… not every outfit was a winner, but every single one was unapologetically me 😂).

Fast forward to the last 5 years working alongside my best girl Shazz — together we have styled hundreds of women through our studio wardrobe. We’ve even had the absolute honour of styling local celebrities for events like the Amie St Clair Melanoma Ball, Miss Wagga Wagga Quest, and Wagga Wagga Takes 2.

One of my personal highlights this year was styling the incredible, community-minded powerhouse that is Haylee Birkinshaw for WWT2.

And then… things got wild.
One of the judges — none other than Adam Thompson, frontman of Chocolate Starfish — complimented my styling and design work. I was already floating… and then he asked me to MAKE A COSTUME FOR HIM.

Cue panic. Cue excitement. Cue happy tears.
Think double denim, tassel trim, golden studs… full Rockstar fantasy. And honestly? He looked like an absolute icon. (Well… he is one 😅🤘)

A massive thank you to Jess Drury for her sewing wizardry on such a delicate project in such a tiny timeframe — and for dealing with my technical meltdowns along the way.

I am beyond proud of the work we created, and beyond grateful for the opportunity.

Little me would scrapbook outfits…
Grown-up me styles rockstars 😅🤘✨

From styling hundreds of women in the studio to working major local events like WWT2, Miss Wagga & the Melanoma Ball — this year levelled up in the wildest way.

When Adam Thompson (yes, the Chocolate Starfish frontman) complimented my work AND asked me to make a custom costume… I nearly cried.
Ok, I did cry. Multiple times. Technical issues were had 😂

But we pulled it off — double denim, tassels, gold studs — full Rockstar energy.
Huge shoutout to Jess Drury for sewing magic under pressure.

I got to style a legit rockstar.
Still screaming about it ✨🔥
