I don’t normally talk about my own riding here but one of the best events I have been a part of is at risk. The Canberra Junior and Women’s Tour needs more women’s riders, otherwise will have to reconsider the future of the women’s event. The event is one of the most supportive environments I have ever competed in. I entered to race the TT and seriously didn’t expect to finish the road race. But with the support of and the race organisation I finished the road race, the Criterium and the Kermesse. It is still one of the rides I am most proud of despite being nowhere near the pointy end of the race. Now I can’t race this year as I am part of the Commissaire team but I would hate to see the event disappear. So please enter if you are able. Also as an extra incentive, the next 25 riders to enter will receive a free pair of Sunglasses!
