She booked her bo***ir shoot knowing she was about to have a double mastectomy.

She didn’t wait until after. She didn’t wait until she felt ready. She showed up for herself. Exactly as she was. And let herself be seen.

Karina is BRCA2 positive. Her grandmother and her mother both had breast cancer. After years of six-monthly scans, she made the decision to have a prophylactic double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction.

Before that surgery, she wanted photos. Not for anyone else. For her.

It was the first time she’d ever bought herself s*xy lingerie. She dragged her best friend along, walked into that room, and chose to celebrate her body, her sensuality, her story - right before everything changed.

One of those images is now her phone lock screen. Every time she looks at it, she remembers her worth and her strength.

That’s what this work is. Not pretty pictures. A record of who you are. Right fu***ng now, in THIS body, in THIS season.

No more hiding ladies.

This is our time!

Our time to wear what we want. Do what we want. Go after whatever the f**k WE want.

As a reformed tomboy, I’m very excited for this new version of me and I can’t wait to help you see you the new version of you.

Most women think confidence is a mindset problem.
It’s not.

You can understand confidence.
You can talk about confidence.
You can journal about confidence until the cows come home.

And still freeze when it’s time to be seen.

Confidence doesn’t come from thinking differently.
It comes from experiencing yourself differently.

I didn’t know it then, but this retreat set wheels in motion that changed the course of my life.

I joined in January last year and their retreat in Bali was in May - I knew I had to be there.

3 epic days with breathwork, yoga, ice baths and some of THE most incredible humans I have ever met.

On the last day of the retreat I was overcome with emotion because I finally found my tribe of people - people who accept me for ME, genuinely want to see me succeed and are more than willing to support me.

Even though it’s almost new a year - I am still having breakthroughs with what I learnt that May in 2025.

When my mum was fourteen, she went to Italy… and didn’t want to come back.

That story lodged itself in my bones.

I grew up happy - but I wasn’t taught how money works.

I repeated cycles I swore I wouldn’t.

Credit cards. Playing small. Delaying the dream.

Now I have a daughter.

So this stops with me.

I’ve spent 14 years behind a camera, photographing women - not to make them look pretty, but to help them remember who the hell they are.

Bo***ir isn’t about s*x appeal.

It’s about watching a woman stand taller.

Seeing herself clearly.

Taking ownership of her body and her life.

I don’t just hand over files.
I give women art. Albums. Prints.
Because when your portrait lives on your wall, your identity starts shifting.

The bigger picture?

A global community.
Retreats at my villa in Italy.
A lingerie label - because why not.
A podcast.
Women who change… and then help hundreds more through their work - that’s a world I want my daughter to grow up in.

And if I won $100k?

Marketing - so the right women find me.
Equipment - world-class experience.
A team - sales, admin, marketing.
A community platform - so the ripple travels further than I ever could alone.

That is what $100k creates.

A daughter watching her mother go after the dream.

Women seeing themselves differently.

A legacy that keeps moving long after the camera clicks.

Most women were never taught how to feel safe being fully seen - so they learned how to manage instead.

This work begins where that pattern ends.

You can understand yourself deeply and still hold your breath in certain rooms.

Because the body doesn’t change through insight alone.

It changes through experience.

This is why mindset work eventually hits a ceiling.

Your nervous system needs proof - not more understanding.
