Can we talk about unwanted desires for a second?

It’s recently been brought to my attention that not every woman has thought about doing a bo***ir photo session.

You can imagine my shock - being the type of person I am and what I take photos of when I heard this.

How can a woman not want to feel completely safe within her skin and to be seen in such a liberating way?

Then I remembered that I was a tomboy until I was 21 years old and never wanted to be seen wearing a dress or make up.

Now more than ever I want women to do what they love. Wear what they love to wear. Feel how they want to feel and give a middle finger to anyone that tells them otherwise.

Seriously though, this is how I feel when any woman comes to me wanting to explore this side of themselves.

Some of us strong, independent women still need a bad influence like me to show them that they can discover this part of themselves because I have been there.

I know what it’s like to be a tomboy and not interested in dresses or make up till I was 21 years old and being judged for it.

So every time someone sends me a message like this, 21 year old me does a happy dance (and current me does a lap around the yard because I’m so fu***ng excited!).

This message I received from Erin stopped me in my tracks.

“I’m still processing what we created”

We met at a retreat last year, and I remember thinking how magnetic she was. Fast forward a year and she was in Brisbane, so we finally brought this vision to life together.

Yes, that’s right. Every photo shoot I do is a co-collaboration with my client.

After seeing her images she said,

“Thank you for making me feel so at ease and empowered in my own skin.”

This is why my soul chose to come to this planet, at this exact time in history. So I can show these magnetic women exactly what the rest of us see.

People often assume bo***ir photography is about lingerie or confidence.

It isn’t. That’s just the fun part.

It’s about permission.

Permission to stop picking yourself apart.

Permission to take up space.

Permission to see yourself with kindness for maybe the first time in a very long time.

The photographs are incredible, of course.

But the shift in the woman standing in front of the camera is the part that stays with me.

Day 5 is here and this is a great one!

I met 𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡 ✽ 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝘇 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿 | 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 last year at a retreat we were on and I knew then just how amazing she truly is.

Fast forward to last month and she was in my city so we got together and created this art.

It is a true gift to hear that she can’t believe that that is her in those photos because now she finally see what the rest of us see - a free, life loving, gorgeous human who knows who she truly is.

Thank you so much for trust me and the vision I had for this shoot Erin. 💜💜💜

This one deserves to be on the grid.

It’s been a long time since I have been able to let the real me out and when you meet a group of people like the ones in there is no chance of hiding.

After supporting & for two days at the Gold Coast live tour event we were invited out to celebrate Kirsty‘s birthday. As if I was going to say no! Haha!

I’ll never forget the sparkle in Kirsty‘s eyes when she spotted me in my outfit and immediately said “This is how you dress from now on, no more Hoodies!”.

To be completely honest, I was feeling a little wary of my outfit because it was a little bit tight but then I was complimented left, right and centre the whole night.

It’s funny how sometimes even the person whose business it is to show other women just how magical they are in the body that they’re in needs just that little bit of a cheer squad herself.

Cheers to you Kirsty and all the WBS Gold Coast crew for seeing ME.
