One of the most asked questions I get, is what kind of sessions do I photograph the most.

Without a doubt, it’s family sessions. Followed by maternity sessions.

Though you may not have guessed based on how far behind I am on posting family galleries 😅

But if you’re looking for a family photographer who:
❤️ loves to incorporate fun and play into family sessions
❤️ gets that kids are going to be kids (& encourages them to be)
❤️ takes a little extra time for kids who need that little bit longer to warm up

Before they become someone’s mum and dad ❤️

We were at the Powerhouse for this beautiful maternity session when they started setting up the projector for the outdoor cinema. The screen was still blank, but I loved the idea of placing the couple in front of it, so we quickly grabbed a few frames.

Then, for just a second, the screen flickered on.

“The show is about to commence.”

It was there for one frame and gone the next.

Alannah and Shane were locked in on each other & didn’t notice the screen change, which I think made it even more perfect. Those words felt so perfectly timed for this season of their lives as they prepare to become parents for the very first time.

A new chapter. A whole new kind of love. The show really is about to commence.
