You deserve a wedding day you actually get to feel.

Not one you perform. Not one you survive. One you sink into, fully, while someone else quietly holds the camera and catches the real thing happening around you.

So before we ever start shooting, we tell every couple the same thing. You are allowed to say any of this, at any point, without explaining yourself:

"We don't want to pose. Just follow us."
"We need twenty minutes with no photos."
"That shot on the list isn't important to us anymore."
"We'd rather feel it than frame it."
"No bouquet toss. No garter. None of it."
"We don't know what we want yet, and that's okay."

Saying any of these doesn't make you a difficult couple. It makes you a present one. And present is what the best photos are made of.

Our whole approach is built around giving you that freedom. You will never be asked to be someone you're not. The frames we love most always happen in the in-between moments, when you've stopped thinking about us and started being with each other.

Give yourself permission first. The photos take care of themselves.

As a bride, you’ll never see your bridesmaids walk down the aisle.

You’ll never see your partner’s face before you arrive.

You’ll never see half the moments happening while you’re living your own.

That’s the beautiful thing about wedding photos and films.

They’re not just memories.

They’re the parts of your story you never got to see.

POV: You’re getting married at .

You say “I do” beneath the Tree Cathedral.

Sneak away for sunset portraits on the lawn.

Round up your favourite people by the pool.

Walk into a reception that feels more like a party than a wedding.

And finish the night with champagne sprays, sore feet, and a voice that’s somehow disappeared.

This is why we love The Lodge.

One venue.

Five completely different backdrops.

And somehow every wedding still feels like its own story.

A beach.
A handful of favourite people.
And a sunset trying its best to steal the show.

and .philips kept things simple.

Which is funny, because sometimes the simplest weddings end up feeling the biggest.

No rules.
No fuss.

Just a couple, an ocean, and a reminder that you don’t need much to create something special.

A couple of weeks ago, we photographed a beautiful wedding.

The bride’s mum couldn’t attend because she was battling stage 4 cancer.

We delivered the photos within a week because we knew how important they were.

Yesterday, when we finished the wedding film, we learned that Mum had passed away.

The bride told us her mum was able to see the photos and was so happy looking through them in her final days.

And honestly, that reminded us of something.

Sometimes wedding photos and videos aren’t just memories for the future.

It’s about making sure the people who matter most get to see those moments while they still can.

“Thank you for coming. We can’t wait to see the photos.”

We hear this after almost every wedding.

So while the last 8 weeks have included 10 weddings and thousands of photos…

Most of our couples are still receiving their galleries in around 2 weeks and their films in around 4.

Not because we rush.

Because we know how excited you’d be to see them.

You shouldn’t have to choose between quality and speed.

You deserve both.

Everyone is a photographer...

Until they switch to M mode.

Then they realise those “accidental” motion shots weren’t accidental at all.

The dress blur? Intentional.

The dance floor motion? Intentional.

The champagne spray frozen perfectly while everything else moves? Also intentional.

Turns out there’s a difference between a blurry photo...

and a photo that’s supposed to be blurry.

Getting ready photos for the groom?

Most guys think they don’t need them.

Then they end up looking like this.

Jack getting ready in the Cigarette Room at , wearing a suit that looked like it was made for the space.

The dark blue walls.
The disco balls.
The pool table.
The whisky in hand.

It felt less like a wedding morning and more like the opening scene of a movie where everyone already knows the main character.

Proof that groom prep doesn’t need to be sitting on a hotel bed scrolling Instagram while waiting for the ceremony.

Sometimes all you need is a great room, a great suit, and five minutes before your mates arrive and ruin the calm.

and at .

Some venues do a lot of the heavy lifting.

Bendooley isn‘t one of them.

It gives you the canvas.

What you do with it is what makes the difference.

And this day was a perfect example.

Every space felt intentional.Every detail felt like it belonged.Nothing was there just for the sake of being there.

absolutely nailed it, creating a day that felt elegant without trying too hard and beautiful without feeling overdone.

Cherry and Andy got married.

Everyone else got a masterclass in how good wedding styling can completely transform a space.
