Our favourite things…photography (yep, that one’s pretty obvious), working with creative people, having a laugh and, most of all, a good love story. Our photographic style is best described as photojournalistic. Chris is an easy-to-get-along-with kind of guy and an unobtrusive photographer, preferring, for the most part, to hang back and let a wedding day or portrait session unfold. Weddings: For

most of your wedding you probably won’t even notice us running around in background - documenting the moments, the relationships, the laughter, the happy tears and all the little things that tell your story. While we do like to dedicate a small part of your day to the ‘shoot’, it’s not about putting you in unnatural poses that make you feel silly, it’s about creating a few special moments where you can take a breath, be yourselves and share a laugh. Portraits: With two little boys of our own we understand families. We believe portrait photography should be natural, depicting a family as they are - the relationships and the special moments that make up every day. Commercial: We have worked with many local businesses, capturing the true nature of their business for a range of purposes - online media including websites, marketing materials and print media. This year we have donated a significant amount of time to the Our Berry Kitchen Cookbook Project, a fundraising initiative of Berry Public School - our local primary school. The best thing about what we do is meeting people so let’s catch up over a coffee and chat.

About last night… I was stoked to be invited by to do a mini-bar/pub crawl for A Day Well Spent.

This kicked off the Indie edition of this live music series that’s been happening over the past few months. I was blown away by the three solo performances from at .rutledge.bar, at and at Berry’s new hotspot .co

What I loved most was how easy the night flowed - good music, great venues, friendly faces and that cruisy small-town energy that makes you want to settle in for the evening.

It’s all part of the Extend the Weekend campaign, helping showcase Berry as more than just a quick day trip. The whole idea is to give people a reason to slow down, stay a few extra nights, bounce between venues, discover the food and music scene and properly soak up what this town has to offer.

Safe to say… Berry knows how to do a Thursday night. And it’s not over yet - this Sunday there’s another awesome line-up kicking off from 12pm. Check it out at extendtheweekend.berry.org.au

Proof of what lies beneath a Scotsman’s kilt and the reason for one of the most hilarious comments during the ceremony for Sam & Clem. Sam had to remind the boys in the front row wearing kilts to close their legs for obvious reasons. Probably more disturbing for Sam was that two of them were her brothers.

Jokes aside it was a pleasure to help capture all these beautiful moments and more for two wonderful people, Sam & Clem. My job made even more important as at the very last minute Clem’s families flights from overseas were cancelled due to the conflict in the Middle East which made it all too difficult for them to attend.
