It's been a long time coming but I am finally making time to pursue my passion for photography. After selling a restaurant business I owned with my husband in 2022, my photography focus has shifted. I have become really inspired by other local businesses and love working with them on their content, branding and event photography. I'm working on getting my website up and running and updating my socials, so watch this space!

I have to say that being one of the Open Field Art Festival photographers last weekend was truly a wonderful experience. Last Friday I captured the Opening Ceremony for Open Field, held at the School of Arts, Berry. It really was an inviting and warming smoking ceremony and really helped to make a connection between people and place. The elders shared their knowledge with the crowd and educated us on Berry's past. It was a humbling experience.

There is nothing like watching a craftsman at work, in their happy place, in the zone.
Local Berry potter, David Collins is a master of clay.

He is well known for his beautiful artisan pieces that take inspiration from Japanese potters of the 13th and 14th century.

I was fortunate enough to capture him at work in his stunning workshop at the top of Woodhill Mountain, Berry prior to an exhibition of his work. To watch the process was a wonder and a privilege.

Who doesn't love chocolate?? This photo shoot for the Berry Chocolatier website and online shop was enough to make my mouth water!! It's always such a pleasure to see local business grow and what better way than to expand using an online store. Just in case you hadn't noticed, Linen House has taken over the cherished Wilson Stores on Queen St! The historic landmark of Berry is finally full of life and colour. This photo shoot for local social media was all about getting the word out of their arrival to Berry, prior to their launch.

Have you met Mark? The recent owner of the Berry Bottle Shop? If you've ever had the pleasure of being greeted by the friendly faces at the Berry Bottle Shop, you will know what I I'm talking about! Mark and his staff are no exception, always an excellent unique range of wines, beers and spirits which I had the pleasure of capturing. Another wonderful addition to the Berry business community. It really is a highlight, working with the people who help make Berry the unique town that it is.
