“Billowing Crease” - 2025

As I’ve grown and learnt the power in deeply analysing the landscape through my education as a student landscape architect, detail scenes like this provide such richness in their beauty.

I stayed within this section of undulating sandstone and pockets of Dianella and Lomandra deep along this river in the valley for nearly an hour. Watching the way water is carving the landscape and opportunistic plant growth in pockets of stone during periods of dry alters the exchange of energy between land and water is a detail all too many would pass up on. The balance of this particular section struck my immediately and this image is one I quite enjoy.

"Coastal Glow" 2024.

The gentle tide rolled out beneath my feet pulling sand between my toes as I watched the sun set in all it's golden glory.

This image was taken on a gorgeous summer evening late last year on the South Coast of NSW. What I would do for a summer afternoon like this right now. This was actually the same afternoon as my the previous image I published. I find great beauty in the smallest details of a large scene like this, they often showcase an amazing story together.

“Sand Rills” - 2024

Sometimes the beauty of the grand scene is best captured in intimate detail. The gentle backwash of the tide going out in the afternoon sun created these beautiful rills in the sand.

I have been a guest on my own account for the past nearly two years, despite the fact I’m still shooting extremely frequently. I found myself caught in the race of trying to shoot for what I thought would look good on instagram, rather than enjoying nature and doing it for myself. This craft is one of relentless chase and personal drive, and to have become influenced by the work of other more talented individuals stunted my personal trajectory.

I have a backlog of 30-50 images from across the last 3 years which I will begin to release as the time is right. Enjoy the start of another chapter in my online publishing.

“Canopy King” 2022

The strong stand up amongst the rest.

Whilst I haven’t posted in nearly a year it’s probably time I go back through the back catalogue and trickle feed some of my older images. This one at Cradle Mountain on a spur of the moment trip to Tassie.

“Mistful Deluge” - 2022

After all the rain the south coast experienced in 2021/2022 the waterfalls of the Southern Highlands were absolutely pumping. This shot was taken at midday, but the way the light was getting caught in the spray from the fall was ethereal. I’ve never seen spray like this before, but it sure was magical to capture. If you go into my reels and scroll down you can find yourself a clip from the day at a closer view.
