We're burning our way out of the Melbourne Jamboree and heading straight towards KING OF THE STREETS this weekend at Victorian Motorsports Park! 💨🚗💥

🏁🔧 MELBOURNE JAMBOREE 2026 – PEOPLE, PITS & BITS! 📸

There's a lot more to motorsport than what happens on the track!

For years, one of the signature features of my speedway photography has been People, Pits & Bits (PPB) — a collection dedicated to the people, machinery, engineering and little details that make motorsport so fascinating.

And now PPB has made its way to the drag strip!

Having started my working life as a tradie and later becoming a professional engineer, I've spent my entire career around vehicles, machinery and technology. Wandering through the pits and getting up close to these incredible machines is where I get my mechanical fix!

To me, these cars are the ultimate expressions of their owners' personalities, passion, creativity and engineering ingenuity. The craftsmanship, innovation and sheer determination that go into building these machines never cease to amaze me.

From enormous turbochargers and beautifully engineered engines to massive racing slicks, specialist equipment, hardworking pit crews and the characters who make it all happen — there's a whole world beyond the quarter-mile.

Sometimes it's the little details that tell the biggest stories.

This collection is my look behind the scenes at the Melbourne Jamboree, Victorian Motorsports Park – 17 October 2026.
