Hoping to get into something new...

A little something different from the usual motorsport photography on this page…

Over the years I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to and photograph some pretty spectacular parts of Australia. More recently, I’ve been going back through that photography and turning some of it into something completely different.

What started as a bit of an experiment has now become a genuine milestone — my Australian Landscapes colouring book series has reached six volumes, with all six now available through Amazon.

The series currently takes in:

Every colouring page begins with one of my own photographs, which I transform into detailed line artwork. The original photograph is included alongside it as a reference — or you can completely ignore my colours and make the scene your own.

It's certainly a different use for my cameras than photographing speedway cars at full noise on a Saturday night, but I've really enjoyed putting the series together.

So, for those who follow my motorsport work but perhaps also enjoy travelling around Australia, photography, colouring — or just know someone who does — feel free to have a look.

Let's put your brand on the track for 2026–2027.

Today I submitted my media accreditation application to attend the upcoming World Time Attack Challenge Sydney this September.

Over the past few years I've had the opportunity to photograph a range of motorsport disciplines including speedway, drifting and drag racing, capturing not only the competition but also the atmosphere, emotion and personalities that make grassroots and professional motorsport so compelling.

This image from a recent speedway meeting captures one of my favourite aspects of motorsport photography — telling the story beyond the car itself. The driver, the crew, the spectators, the dust, the light and the celebration all combine into a moment that only exists for a fraction of a second.

WTAC has long been on my list of events to cover. The engineering innovation, fabrication quality and outright performance on display make it one of Australia's premier motorsport events and a fantastic opportunity for storytelling through photography and video.

If successful, coverage will be shared through my social media channels and photography pages, which collectively reach approximately 300,000 views per quarter, helping bring the event to audiences well beyond the circuit itself.

Fingers crossed for a positive outcome and hopefully I'll see many of you trackside in Sydney this September.
