Saskia + Harley 🖤

These guys like their wedding attire like they do their doggos - black and white - and how incredible does this look amongst the greenery and rustic stables of the Ravenswood Homestead?!

From morning to night, them and their amazing wedding party brought the energy, banter and good vibes that made for one of the funnest, and funniest, days I ever got to be a part of! I drove home music blasting, trying to savour those dancefloor moments feat Max, a very talented DJ/ saxophonist, just a little longer.

And while Sass and Harley know how to party, their day also included some of the most heartfelt vows and speeches I‘ve ever heard, leaving not a dry eye in the room.

Izzy + Brandon ❤️‍🔥

- a.k.a. a day spent 2 years and 5 months in the making, from the day they first enquired with me to the day they finally got to say „I do“. Within that time they became parents, a journey shared between us that made capturing their intimate elopement all the more special. 🥹

- a.k.a. the Thursday wedding club. They chose a Thursday because not only were they both born on a Thursday, but so was their daughter. And because the universe works in funny ways, naturally they booked me as their photographer, who was also born on a Thursday, and so was my son. 💫

- a.k.a. the ever-evolving plan that ended up being exactly right. From the originally planned vows down the coast to pivoting to a city elopement, to a mix up of the times by the courthouse, to a reception venue change only a few days beforehand, and a day that amongst a week of sunshine, was as muggy as can be, they took it all in their stride, and it was so beautiful to witness the positivity and love they radiated throughout. 💛

The mix up of times by the courthouse meant that we had very little time to take photos in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens afterwards before those closed, and that we wouldn’t be able to access the houses in the gardens at all. However, in a lucky twist of fate we met one of the workers as we entered the grounds who happened to update the opening hours on the sign on that exact day, and was kind enough to leave the Palm House open for us for an extra hour. 🥹

What a beautiful day for two of the most beautiful souls. ❤️ PS. enjoy the cringe couple photo they requested in the last slide haha

Neesh + Trent 🪩

These two had us laughing and crying (happy tears of course) from start to finish. Their wedding party brought the party vibes, but also knew when to dial it back and delivered such genuine, emotionally charged speeches that had the room tearing up with them. 🥹

I found it incredibly special to capture the bond Neesh and Trent share between each other, but also with their 3 gorgeous boys and families. Neesh asked her little sister to be a part of her bridal party and the beautiful moment we caught of them under her veil will forever be one of my favourites. It truly is the greatest honour of my job to be invited to witness and capture such delicate memories, one of the happiest days in someone‘s life that brings out such a great range of emotion. 🤎

Despite the day being mostly cloudy, the sun peaked through just in time to get some amazing sunset piccies amongst the blossoms in the driveway of Chateau Dore. 🌸

They also received the most thoughtful gift from one of their guests during their reception, a Vintage pocket watch, stopped at the exact moment in time at which they shared their first kiss. And Neesh‘s aunty even went to the length of creating one last little goodnight story for Neesh during her speech, illustrated and all. It really put it into perspective how fast time passes and the little ones in your life grow up, it made me hug my boy a little tighter once I got home after this beautiful day. 🥰

Lisa + Jack 🪴

While these two have chosen to keep their wedding off socials, they have kindly allowed me to share some inspo from their beautiful day at Mitchelton Wines to showcase the stunninggg work of their vendor team. 🥹

I mean it when I say that The Botanic House created my favourite reception setup ever, ever, EVER in the w**e cellar. It was like stepping into a magical world of colourful blooms and fairy lights, surrounded by so much greenery, and you could tell that Lisa, Jack and all their guests felt the impact of the dreamy atmosphere we were immersed in. 💐

For their reception entry and exit, they handed their guests colourful ribbon wands that just added to the whimsy of their celebration. This is something I’d love to see more of during those key moments or even ceremony exits! So fun if you can’t or don’t want to do petals or bubbles. 🎀

During cocktail hour, the talented Candy created live illustrations for their guests to take home, which added such a special touch. And lastly, their cutie patootie silly goose cake by EC Cakes & Sweets absolutely stole my heart. 🪿

Kat + Glenn 🎇

What an absolute stunner of a day these two got to call their own!

I adored the personal touches they added to include their doggos into their day, and that they chose to do a first look to get their wedding party photos out of the way and enjoy the cocktail hour with all their guests.

The love Kat + Glenn have for each other is palpable, and while they show up so gently and caring, they also have a competitive streak that makes for some cheeky banter and bets, such as who can spot more rare birds within A WHOLE YEAR - very committed to the cause these two are, I love it!

But most of all, I love that they decided to end the night with a jump in the pool at Lancemore Macedon Ranges - really making some unforgettable memories that will stay with them (and everyone who witnessed it) for a lifetime. 🥹

Breaking my instagram-posting-hiatus with the incredibly exciting announcement that one of my favourite weddings everrr, Dani + Jen‘s beautiful, cosy, intimate winter wedding has been featured on Celebrating LGBTQ+ Weddings, Engagements & Love 🌈 while I was away! 🥹🖤

I had the honour of photographing this magical day a few years ago and always knew that it deserved a larger audience to inspire, and I am so stoked that Dancing With Her shared that sentiment.

From them getting ready together in their dreamy airbnb surrounded by their closest loved ones and precious fur family, to getting hitched in a café they fell in love with, serenaded by a string quartet, before feasting on the most delicious food and dancing the night away - this day was honestly pure perfection and I still absolutely adore looking back at these photos.

One week since the day the centre of our universe shifted forever. ❤️
We‘re all doing well and enjoying this special time as a family of three - bubs already seems to have grown so much in just a few days and we couldn’t love him any more if we tried. 🥹

Out of office 🖤

It‘s time to soak up this special season of 2 becoming 3, so in the coming months I will take some time off from my business.

All emails, messages and enquiries will be responded to in early September.
While I may occasionally share an update or post, I aim to do so without pressure of being constantly available, so please be patient with me as I put myself and my family first during this time.

To my current couples - if anything urgent pops up, please message my phone number (you can find it in your onboarding email) and I‘ll get back to you when I can.

To all future couples - 2026 is fully booked. You are still more than welcome to enquire for 2027 dates though. I have set up my emails so that you‘ll receive access to my availability and price guide straightaway, and once I‘m back in September we can catch up and get you booked in. 🫶🏼

Annika + Brady 🧡

What a way to wrap up an incredible wedding season!

If there‘s one thing I adore, it‘s when couples plan their days with deep intentionality.
Having both lost a parent, it was important to them to honour and celebrate their memory on this special day. This was done in so many beautiful ways - the lighting of candles during the ceremony and reception, handwritten letters to each guest that featured a quote from Annika‘s parents wedding booklet, which was written by her mum, and a family dance to the song „fly me to the moon“ in memory of Brady‘s dad.

The thoughtful touches and consideration of their loved ones continued in the outfit choices - Annika wanted each of her girls to choose their own dress, something they‘d be comfortable in. The only brief: colour! And how incredibly stunning do the ladies (and of course, the gents) look, especially amongst the beautiful florals? 💐

When asked what their favourite part of the planning process was, they answered „Just having the opportunity to really reflect on us and who we are, and then think about how we want our day to reflect that.“
And this folks, this is what wedding days are all about. 🥹
