👋 Hi, let me reintroduce myself!

I’m Demi, the face behind Demi Ellen Photography 📸

I’ve been photographing professionally for the past 6 years, but I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was about 15. Over the years, my style has evolved into what it is today — child-led, relaxed family photography that feels like your family. 🥰

I’m all about a chill session. If you’ve worked with me before, you’ll know I’m pretty easygoing. I’ll give you a little direction when you need it, but mostly, we’ll go with the flow and let the kids be kids. 🌊

A few little facts about me:

✨ I’m a twin — she’s 3 minutes older (and yes, we’re both Geminis ♊️)

✨ I’m an allied health professional in my day job

✨ I’m a dreamer, empathetic & just a tad ✨anxious✨

✨ My favourite people are my husband Craig, our toddler Flynn, Bailey our Border Collie & Cosmo the cat 🐾

A 30 minute child-led session for little ones who would much rather run, explore and play than sit still for photos.

I’ll follow their lead, let them explore and capture the good stuff as it happens — with a little direction when we need it.

Just play, connection and photos that feel like them.

Newborn sessions don’t have to be quiet, perfectly posed baby, or sitting still, especially when you have 3 older brothers!

My sessions may involve couch jumping, snacks and cuddles in bed and involving the furry family members

My child-led approach is all about letting siblings explore, babies wriggle, and everyone settle in their own way — with a little direction from me when needed. 🤎

We all know we can’t pose toddlers or kids in general for photos, the more you force it the more it’ll go down hill! So just lean into it and LET THEM, let them lead the way and the results will speak for itself 💛
