It's nearly time for WTAC this weekend, and that means some potential for sparks on those outside kerbs.

At the Hi-Tec Super Series round, I decided during a race that I needed to capture some sort of Spark shot, after seeing it possible in the corner of my eye. The only problem? I had 2 laps to get back to the pits for the podium.

That's a lot of unnecessary pressure to put yourself under. Good thing, I got the backfire shot after to back it up.

A weekend of success and oh so close for Ainslie Football Club with the Premlinary finals for the 1st, 2nd Grade and Under 18's Men. Enjoy my selection of photos showing the emotions, setting and moments that I was able to capture.

In 2025, I scouted this very bridge at 8:30 at night for the Rally of The Bay that weekend. That next morning, I woke up to the news that the whole rally had been cancelled. I wasn't going to be able to use the spot I found, I now had to sit on it and hope I had the chance next time.

A year later, the stage was being run back. So myself, Cameron Rogers, Lachlan Wort and Jacob Suter walked the 3.5km into stage to reach this same very bridge. Gifted a second chance at the aforementioned scout, I now wanted to ensure I captured the photo exactly how had envisioned it for the past 366 days. This is what that looked like for me.

Welcome to the Trans-aam Flame Shot.

A shot I've taken a couple times over the last few iterations of what was the Super Series. Combine the sunset vibe, the big V8's downshifting, and a side-on view of them trying to make turn 4, while I pan a big flame in the middle of it all.

Is it bad that this feels tranquil to me?

It's nearly time for some finals footy!

It has been awesome to continue shooting for Ainslie Football Club over the past few months, here are some of my favourite shots from the various teams and matches during that time.

A couple weeks ago, I took a morning commute up to Sydney to photograph the second installment of the BBClub Cup.

A new location, a low hanging sun, and the morning energy of kids outside kept me on my toes for most of the event. I spent much of the day trying to capture the perspectives, whether it be the group running free, the parents cheering their kids on, or the technical skills that you may not notice at first glance.

Overall awesome morning out, big thank you to Alexey and the team for having me back.

My last photo set was one I was quite proud of. A portfolio of techniques I had either improved upon as I began to better understand them, or learnt from scratch completely.

The leading photo was one I was especially proud of, and one that I also feel requires a little extra to explain why. Over the course of more than an hour, I spent my time walking around Mitchell Noble's bike. Sometimes with a flash, other times backwards with a light bar. Those attempts would culminate in a total of 12 frames which I would stitch together to create the final image that you saw on monday.

Sometimes my favourites take time.

A test shoot earlier in the year made way for some pretty big ideas that I wanted try out. Across a few locations, I used these ideas in a return shoot to create the mix of composition, colour palettes and moods you see here.

Overall super happy with this set.

Are you looking for a photographer for you or your team to cover WTAC or Speed Series Sydney next month? I would love to help out, send a message and we'll work something out.

Spare time between each session of the Australian Driver's Championship across the weekend was normally pretty small. But on saturday, as there were no daytime sessions, Northline Media and I had some time to practice shot styles and experiment a bit with the Australian Endurance Championship's 3 Hour race, while I showed him around parts of Sydney Motorsport for the first time.

The whip pan took some work on getting the correct timing, but I was super happy with the results I managed at turn 2. Which is your favourite?

Are you looking for some to photograph you or your team at the World Time Attack Challenge? I would love to accommodate you, send a message to inquire.

A couple weeks ago, I got the tremendous opportunity to cover the Hankook Australian Drivers' Championship in it's entirety, as they competed at the AASA Super Series Round at Sydney Motorsport.

As I seem to always do now, I wanted to maximise this coverage. Come friday night, I decided it was a good idea to run just over 1km in 20 minutes. Shooting from as many possible locations as I could muster in that time, without missing the finish or podium. This is what all that rush looks like from my view.

Are you looking for someone help cover you or your teams endeavours for World Time Attack Challenge or the Speed Series? Well, if this video says anything, I know my way around Sydney, and I'm willing to help you!
