A few magic moments from just north of Perth

One Last Taste of Wild Western Australia
From the white sands of Sandy Cape, the Pinnacles rose from the golden earth like an ancient stone forest and all along the road, spring was bursting into life: wildflowers splashed across the bushland, while enormous grass trees stood like sentinels against the sky.
Then we arrived at Guilderton, where the mighty Moore River meets the Indian Ocean. What a place to pause.
From the lookout, the river winding towards the sea, brilliant blue water, white sand and endless sky.

One more sunset. One more walk. One more breath of freedom… before Perth. 🌅📷

Sunset over the Indian Ocean from our camp-site at Guilderton as we head into Fremantle tomorrow..such peace and tranquillity. I sat on the beach and just soaked up the sound of the waves before taking a quick chilly dip.

Morawa in Bloom 🌼🌾
We found this little town friendly and peaceful, nestled in the heart of Western Australia’s Wildflower Country, beautiful Morawa comes alive for six magical weeks each year and bursting with wildflowers, the town celebrates its landscape through art, including a spectacular biennial exhibition. We delighted to wander the beautiful wildflower walk among flowering tea trees, explore the surrounding bush and enjoy the peaceful bush camping nearby. If wildflowers are calling you, Morawa is a place we thoroughly recommend discovering. 🌸📸

Galahs are seed-eating parrots, and when you see them picking at flowers, they're often targeting seeds, developing seed capsules, nectar, pollen, or other nutritious flower parts. In Western Australia's spring wildflower season, some flowering plants can provide an attractive food source.

Wildflower Magic at Coalseam National Park 🌸
Coalseam National Park is putting on an incredible show right now! 💜💛🩷 Everywhere we looked, intense carpets of purple, yellow and pink wildflowers were waving in the breeze, alive with birdlife and the gentle hum of nature.

What we loved about this place even more special is that this precious patch of bushland has been saved from the surrounding farmland — a little sanctuary preserving the wildflowers, native plants and wildlife that once covered much of this region.
A beautiful reminder of just how spectacular Western Australia’s wild country can be. 🌿🌼🐦

It will never tire of watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean.

Taken as we sat on the foreshore, in the geraldon harbour.

Double image using EXpert Raw on my Android SAMSUNG S24ultra, combining, one ICM image with one sharp image.
